First seeds sown this year!
These are Lisianthus seed pods that we harvested from last year’s crop. And no, they're not brownies with pistachio topping (although they look like it).
Honestly, there’s a minimal chance of having mature seeds in these pods, but we still want to satisfy our curiosity 😁
Sadly, we decided not to buy new Lisianthus seeds this year. They take too long to flower (7+ months last year) and, given that we are growing primarily in our back and front yards, we’d like to use whatever space we have to grow more productive cut flowers.
But if these seeds sprout and grow successfully, I guess we just have to find a space for them 😅
They really are stunning in person 💐😍
