Nicola’s journey into massage therapy reflects her deep passion for the healing arts. As a 2021 graduate, she’s committed to providing a holistic approach to wellness through various techniques such as cupping, hot stones, lymphatic drainage, sports massage, and deep tissue relaxation. Her emphasis on self-care and mental health is at the core of her practice, advising clients to ensure their own well-being before extending care to others.

Her massage style features long, fluent strokes combined with deep tissue work, aimed at creating harmony and balance in one’s life while preventing injuries. Nicola’s dedication to expanding her expertise is evident in her interest in returning to Hawaii to further study lomi lomi, an ancient Hawaiian massage technique.

Outside of her professional life, Nicola enjoys swimming in lakes and walking in nature. She values meditation and breathing exercises as essential components of her wellness routine. Her favorite book, “The Four Agreements,” reflects her philosophical approach to life, while her travels have taken her to India, a destination she cherished for its vibrant energy, color, and beauty.

Francesca’s passion for skincare started early, first sparked by dealing with hormonal breakouts during her teenage years. It deepened when she moved from Chicago to Calgary for university and encountered severe skin dehydration and sensitivity. Francesca graduated from the University of Calgary in 2020 with a BA in Social Anthropology, but after having worked for several years in hair salons as a receptionist, she rediscovered her love for the beauty industry and decided to pivot into a career in esthetics.

As of 2022, Francesca is a certified facialist, dermaplaning specialist, and brow & lash technician, trained at the accredited Esthetic Institute in Calgary. She loves learning and has obtained advanced education in treating sensitized and reactive skin, melanated skin, and skincare concerns related to hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

Francesca’s approach to skincare is deeply holistic, and focuses on restoring the skin barrier as well as creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space for treatments. She is dedicated to providing inclusive, compassionate esthetic services tailored to your individual needs.

In her spare time, Francesca enjoys reading, crafting, snacking, cuddling with her four cats, and watching films or trying new restaurants with her wife.

We are now starting to feel the opening of the Lion’s Gate portal in this universal year of 2024 (2+0+2+4=8 ~ 8/8/8). This portal opens towards the end of July and all throughout the middle of August, with its peak falling on 8/8.

This occurrence is marked by the rising of Siruius, the brightest star in our sky. Often referred to as our spiritual sun, Sirius illuminates the timelessness and the truth of our intradimensional souls. This is a powerful time for manifestation, downloads, healing and awakening, as during this time with both the Sun and Sirius in the sky, Earth receives the most amount of light during this period.

We will be offering sessions on Thursday, August 8th, to help usher in the powerful and expansive energy brought by this astrological event. Book in to include La Palma in your Lion’s Gate ritual.

Brandy’s experience of working over 10 years in the skincare + makeup department at Holt Renfrew, along with working as a spa practitioner, has allowed her to transition these skills into a career as an RMT. Upon graduation in 2021 in the massage therapy program, she has furthered her education to become trained in reflexology, craniosacral therapy, manual lymphatic drainage and reiki. Brandy is able to incorporate these specialty treatments into her sessions.

With over two decades of experience, Robin’s approach is personalized, focusing on understanding her clients’ needs and goals for their sessions. She incorporates techniques like cupping and pays attention to fascial planes, aiming for a treatment that addresses both rehabilitation and relaxation.

Beyond her professional practice, Robin is deeply involved in her community, continually seeking ways to support others. Her pursuit of additional certifications, such as Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) and Yoga Teacher Training, reflects her commitment to expanding her skills to better serve those around her.

Robin’s advice to her clients reflects her own philosophy of balanced living, emphasizing movement, connection, and self-care. It’s clear that her passion for helping others extends far beyond the massage table, permeating her entire life.

Meet Tristan✨

Tristan comes us to us with many years in the hospitality industry, spending more than half of his life in the restaurant industry. Wanting to make a change, he decided to pursue massage as a way to care for others in a healing environment. Spending decades in the service industry, is what has given him the natural ability to communicate well with his clients and make sure their expectations are met. Tristan is passionate about his work and is always looking for new ways to expand his knowledge in massage therapy through various continuing education courses and learning from his peers.

Tristan has a wide range of skills and experiences that make him an excellent massage therapist. He has a 3000-hour advanced diploma in massage therapy where he was trained in prenatal, sports, myofascial release, Swedish, lymphatic and deep tissue massage. After a few years into his practice, he has found his focus in sports therapy, lymphatic and prenatal.

When he’s not at the spa, Tristan enjoys spending time with his wife and puppy in the mountains. Along with hiking in the mountains, he also enjoys foraging, fly-fishing, snowboarding, cooking and most recently baking. He has been sharing his love of baking with the team, and we can’t say we don’t love it.

Her specialty as an Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist for over 7 years, is deep tissue and therapeutic massage techniques.

In her treatments, Tanya frequently incorporates Trigger Point Therapy, Dynamic Cupping, Myofascial Release and Active Release Techniques.

Her past clients can attest to her ability to increase mobility, reduce pain and relieve tension.
