I was listening to this yesterday at the gym and I had to pause a lot to wipe hidden tears. The way Michael Buble loves his wife and children is so endearing. Real men like this exist who adore their families and you can tell he was raised in love by how much he loves people back.

✨Happy Solstice ✨
“Respect in a relationship is like the yeast in bread. Without it, things don’t rise.”
“You are the biggest part of that glow”😘
I’m so proud of myself for going after everything and pursuing my dreams before becoming a parent. Traveling to many countries, becoming a healer and doing my best for my mental health by studying meditation for a decade. Even living in a Buddhist temple at one point. All before I decided to pursue motherhood.
Ladies, find yourself first and pursue your visions. Also, after becoming a mother, always look for ways to allow your visions to grow. You hit life differently when you have inner contentment 🥰🤲🏾💜
📌 How modern Aunties and Uncs can support their siblings/cousins with kids without babysitting….
This is directly from my experience and hope it helps improve relationships.
Times are hard these days, everyone’s mental health isn’t at capacity to have screaming little tikes to look after to give their siblings a breather. There’s actually more than one ways to be supportive from a distance.
How my cousins and siblings showed up for us is beyond words to express our happiness from their kindness.
✨Share your passwords to subscriptions like Disney+, Crunchy Roll etc:
Just having to not stress about getting these and my little guy can give me an hour or so to myself watching something he likes was priceless.
✨DoorDash food/cold meds when everyone is sick or mama is too tired to cook.
My first months moving to Minneapolis, both of us were sick almost weekly. My siblings were busy with work and my sister lived out of town. We had food and groceries sent to the house thanks to them.
✨Pay for indoor playground spots for the little one.
In the winter it’s hard to have them cooped up in the house. My dear cousin in Spain sent us funds so little man could play at his favorite indoor playground that was so huge. I sent her footage of his enjoyment and made us both happy for days. I can hang out there listening to podcasts in a safe facility. Everyone wins.
✨Buy flowers for mama and little momentos to keep her spirits up.
My close friends do this from time to time and it makes me happy cry to see their kindness. I had a colleague once get me a massage package after a stressful week at home with little man. I haven’t spoken to her in years but she gets my blessings to this day.
✨Hire a cleaner to give mama a break once a month or so.
Our first few months moving back home, our family did this to help keep the place clean. I had no energy after surgery and little man’s asthma wasn’t going well. It was such a kind gesture and it freed up time for me to look after him. They ordered food too because we couldn’t make anything when the kitchen was being cleaned.
✨Add a babysitter option to mama’s gym membership
So almost every large gym has a spot to watch kids. My siblings would help me by paying for the extra subscription monthly because they were not available to watch little man. He had fun socializing with other kids and I got to have a break to myself for an hour or two.
✨If your sibling is moving, help them with moving in cost if you can. Anything helps.
My older brother did this for us. He was a teacher in Saudi Arabia at the time. I was talking to him over the phone about recently moving back to Canada with a small toddler and I was paying for everything in our new townhouse but we didn’t have internet yet. All the costs for that was a lot. He sent funds to cover everything plus one months rent to give him a break from that stress. Let me tell you the tears of joy I cried, I still remember that feeling of happiness.
I feel so fortunate and uplifted from my village. We don’t get to see each other very often but their little thoughtful ways we help each other is beyond words of gratitude 🙏🏽 ✨
What creative ways can you come of up? Parents don’t just need resources, sometimes just a kind message boosts up their spirit to keep going for their little ones. Having someone who cares about say “Hey I can’t be there for you but I see you Mama, you got this!” I know it’s enough juju to make me push onward 🥺❤️❤️❤️
As always fam, let’s Go!!

Your yearly reminder: Watch for your first dream of the new year!
In Japanese culture, the first dream of the New Year is called hatsuyume, 初夢.
Because of changes in the historical calendar over the last few centuries, this New Year dream can be the night of December 31 or January 1st. Today, we can simply say: the first dream of the year. This first dream is a bit of divination, giving us a clue to the year ahead.
However, this tradition was not just about remembering the first dream – but also actively promoting it, incubating it. Coalescing in the Edo period of Japan (17th – 19th century roughly), the practice for calling good dreams on New Year’s day involved slipping a picture under the dreamer’s pillow for the night. This practice still endures today.
The picture depicts a sailboat loaded down with treasures. This treasure boat, or Takarabune, was loaded with bales of rice, keys, a wishing gem, and big centipede along with other traditional luck-bringing items. On the sail, the characters “Baku” were inscribed – the Baku being a magical Tapir, a horse-like animal from the Malaysian highlands that has been known for centuries earlier in China to be a “nightmare eater.”
The magical dream amulet helped the dream create an atmosphere of cleansing and spiritual power. In traditional Japanese culture, the most prized dreams are those of the sacred Mt Fuji, of a hawk, or an eggplant.
Of course, you might have some different symbols that bring luck for you.
In the spirit of Hatsuyume, I created a printable amulet that you can fill out and slip under your pillow tonight (or all this next week until you remember a dream). Simply draw or write what you'd like to dream about and bring into your life. Link is the the comments.
Happy New Year my friends! Report back and told me what you dreamed :)
Happy Holidays Everyone!! ✨ 🦌 ❄ 🎄
Leonie von Meusebach–Zesch became a dentist at nineteen in 1902, starting her career in San Francisco. Over the years, she worked in Arizona, where Leonie drove around in her Model T car, holding mobile clinics all over the state. Then, for fifteen years she worked in Alaska, where she at times commuted by airplane, once surviving a plane crash. And often to get around the state's interior to serve the local Inuit population and others, she traveled by dog sled in a custom sixteen-foot sled.
