I have had many great accomplishments in life but none were greater than when I came up with the name for this Caffe Crema desert.

Chocolypse Now exploded on your taste buds with 10 megatons of Chocolatey goodness that you would never forget.

So Proud, So Proud.

Caffe Crema updated their address.

This won't be on the Hallmark Channel but it is a Caffe Crema Christmas. This picture is from 2009 the first Christmas of the wonderful Caffe Crema.

This was the first Christmas Card to ever stand on the Caffe Crema counter. It was lonely for a while as the place had just opened a few months earlier and was still building up it's regular clientele but it was joined by many more over the years.

The jingle was inspired by the cold blast of winter that had arrived the night before, plus I had recently seen that old movie Billy Jack again and had that song One Tin Soldier stuck in my head.

It is interesting that this occurred to me today, and this is kinda of cosmic, today of all days December 12. Tom Laughlin who played Billy Jack and pushed the distribution when the movies companies would not, died on December 12, 2013, may he Rest in Peace.

In 2019, it was revealed that writer-director Quentin Tarantino and actor Brad Pitt used the film and Laughlin's performance as an influence while developing Pitt's character in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

So don't you feel all Christmassy now cause now you know the rest of the story of the First Caffe Crema Christmas Card.

Now where is that Santa Video, people would love that...

It’s been like 7 years since he was on the Caffe Crema stage, superstar Lucas Chaisson was on the Coca-Cola stage this afternoon at the Calgary Stampede. Watch for some of your other favorites from Showcase Shows of the past on the big stage the rest of the Stampede.

Caffe Crema did a lot of good for the community with it's big charity concerts. These concerts often headlined a fantastic group of guys known as the Silence In B'tween. They could play pretty much anything with a level of quality and professionalism that could take your breath away.

Throwback Thursday from the now legendary Caffe Crema sessions of so long ago.

I have always loved this segment with Amy Wood. Not only is her music fantastic, which it is, we love the look of this video. This was shot with an old Pentax SLR that had only rudimentary video capability, it's really a B camera shot. But what makes it work and gives it that wonderful warm look with an incredibly smooth blur is the glass that was on the camera. It was a very old completely manual 50mm 1.4 Prime lens we got like 37 years ago (but still in mint condition.) It shows good glass is critical to any shoot. It matters not if you got a 4K, 8K, who know how many K's camera, if your glass is not good. Good glass is at least and probably more important. If I can ever find the master for this I think I am to put the render farm on it and re-release this in 4K HDR (of course we may fall asleep watching McHale's Navy reruns instead).
