Working on our with some different naturally flavoured bacon slabs. Maple Espresso, Apple Cinnamon, Raspberry Chipotle and a Mustard Dill. Very excited. My bets on the espresso being the best! What’s yours??

Hey everyone. Hope everybody is doing well and staying healthy. Since we had our bar closed down again we have decided to do another round of city wide BBQ deliveries. We are including on this round our smoked bacon by the lb. We cure it ourselves and smoke it with whole apple logs. We vac-seal the pound whole so you can slice it to your desired thickness. It has been turning out really well. This process does take a bit of time so this round of deliveries will be on Wednesday May 12th. Attached is a picture of the order form. Please email [email protected] with what you would like to order and I will send a picture back with the final total. As usual everything will be vac-sealed in their portions and you can keep them fresh in the fridge for up to 5 days or you can freeze them down with no quality loss for future use. If you need directions on re-heating please feel free to reach out. Payments can be made via e transfer to the above address or with cash upon delivery. Please make sure to include a delivery address as well as a phone number in case we need to reach you during the deliveries. Thanks!

Hey everyone. We have received a lot of requests for BBQ deliveries to start up again. Since our bar (Waterloo Kitchen and Bar) is remaining closed for the foreseeable future we have decided to do another round. Attached here is the price list. As usual email [email protected] with what you would like to order and the quantities. Please provide a delivery address and phone number (this is very important). If you have any dietary concerns or allergies please let us know. Everything will be delivered vacuum sealed in the units described on the list. Re-heating instructions available upon request. Delivery date will January 30th. All orders must be placed by 3pm Friday Jan 29th at the latest. Once your order is placed I will email you back within a day with your total cost. Payment can be made by E transfer to the above address or with cash on the day of delivery.

Young or old everyone puts their time in on the smoker!

Trying something new today. Smoked Elk Shank osso bucco. 3 hours of smoke followed by a stout and coffee bath for a few more hours. Maybe a new menu item when all this isolation is over!

After delivering our bbq around the city for three 3 weeks I figured it was time to deliver something at home!
Cured for 8 days and smoked for 10 hours our first turned out great! One of the kiddos even stayed up late enough to enjoy it!

Hey everybody. Hope you are all doing well and staying healthy. With the recent temporary closure of our restaurant and probable delay with starting up the food truck I have decided to start doing some home deliveries of our BBQ. This will hopefully provide our soul kitchen fans an option to enjoy some delicious BBQ during these times as well as a way to help generate some cash flow to ensure our ability to re-open when the time comes.
Our next round of deliveries will be for Sunday April 5th. The orders need to be in by Friday April 3rd.
All of the meats will come delivered vac sealed in 1lb portions. This will allow you to freeze if necessary and not lose any quality when re heating. I will send re heating instructions via email to those who order.
I have attached a picture of the price list. If you are interested in getting a delivery please email [email protected] with your order. I can fill out the form and send it back. We will take e transfers as payment to that email address.

Hey everyone. Hope all of you loyal Soul Kitchen followers are enjoying your winter! We just wanted to let you know that after 5 years of talking about it we finally did it! Starting in March we are opening a new bar/restaurant in the SW of Calgary. Give us a follow on FB Waterloo Kitchen and Bar and Instagram
We will be located just up from the corner of 37th St and 17th Ave sw.
While we wont be a pure BBQ restaurant our menu incorporate some of your Soul Kitchen favorites as well as different BBQ features. The food truck will still operate for weddings, events as well as some downtown services.
I am excited at the opportunity to continue to serve everyone our great food as well as now being able to enjoy a pint with you! Stay tuned for updates on the Soul Kitchen start up date as well as pictures from our renovations, menu updates and live music dates.
