Our Story
UniverseSoul's history is quite a unique one. We are home grown, founded and nurtured in Calgary. Always bound by three things, our respect for creativity, love of community and passion for growth all within the realm of dance. And before there was a studio, we were dancing nomads, finding ourselves in basements, hallways and any community gym we could occupy.
Our journey to building the studio was filled with resilience and hard work, but the sweetest thing was building it in tandem with the whole community. From performing at and supporting local businesses and events, to opening a show for the Jabbawockeez and probably our most grand, back up dancing for Janet Jackson, we remember and are thankful for every single soul we've crossed paths with. You've all made an impact in the story of UniverseSoul Dance.
Fast forward to now, UniverseSoul Dance is a dance studio based in Calgary, Alberta and is among the most elite urban dance studios in Western Canada. Our unique style of choreography is innovative and is expanding the boundaries of dance in the nation. Our expert faculty train students in our dance style pushing our dancers to achieve their highest potential and fulfill their dreams!
We began dancing with three core values and continue to move forward with them always close at heart.
