As a watching her kids grow so fast this one is special.

Summer garage things.

If I’m being honest, anxiety can be my auto response to hard seasons. Without even thinking my body will pick it up. I’ll feel it in my chest, even louder in my mind. I’ve had a season where medication has helped keep my head above water and am currently in a season where I’m practising my swimming skills without it…
One thing that has been steady in both seasons is my faith hasn’t wavered. Has it been hard to hear from God in both? Yes. Has God shown up in beautiful ways in both. Absolutely yes. Has there been ups and downs and doubts and confidence and truth and lies splashing around me in both, so much yes.
But God has been the constant.
One thing I’ve learned is that through all the big feelings he is always drawing me in. It’s up to me to let the current of his love to pull me to shore.
That’s done, not by my striving, or making sense of situations, or attempting to find solutions to problems, but in bringing all the questions, all the struggles to God. He will take every opportunity to bring us into relationship with him and with community. 🤍

Just a homebody who’s been out of the house for most of July. It’s so good to be home ❤️

We’re on the long drive home to Calgary after a full week visiting both of our families in Sask. It’s always so good to connect, slow down and make memories in the prairies we grew up in. I always find myself so much more motivated and inspired to get back into routine and making new signs and products after time away!
