Check out this beauty! We have been working with one of our favourite local artists, .by.natur, to create a bespoke piece of art for one of our clients and their new living room design. This beautiful piece represents the Punjab landscape — where our clients are from — and the distinct rivers that run through it. Bringing equal parts sentiment and style, we are thrilled to see this work of art in its new home!

Happy Monday! Ok, we blinked and September has come and gone! Autumn is a busy time of year in our studio and this particular space has been working extra hard for us as we push projects forward for a few of the Christmas deadlines looking over us!

When we started working with these clients their kitchen layout was working well for them, but they had grown tired of the large expanse of cherry millwork. Our first order of business was to find an elegant way to introduce new finishes, while maintaining as much existing millwork as possible.

The talented millworkers rose to the occasion expertly bringing our vision to life for a fresh new kitchen space for this young family.

We are SO excited to see our kitchen design for on the cover of this month's issue of ! This beautiful spec home was designed by and for our friends ! We left a little bit of ourselves in this project and in a full circle moment were thrilled when the family that purchased this home asked us back to help with furniture and décor! 🤗

Small in size, big on pattern - the powder room from our project showcases one of our all-time favourite patterns: a traditional Toile de Jouy! Often abbreviated to simply "toile", the pattern depicts a complex landscape-style scene most often against a white or off-white background. The print gained popularity as a printed French textile in the late eighteenth-century, and the classic graphic remains a staple in both fashion and interiors to this day!

Function meets beauty in this mudroom designed for our project! With some clever space planning our senior designer was able to carve our a bit of additional storage to add a walk-in-closet in this family focused space.

A closer look at the kitchen design from our project. Right from the start, we knew we were going to have be clever with the millwork design to ensure the large kitchen space didn’t come off flat or sterile.
proposed to break up the millwork finishes in the space so nothing felt monotonous and we couldn't have been more thrilled when our clients requested a charcoal cabinet finish, a welcome contrast in this bright and white space.

Our senior designer is extra excited about this fun wallpaper because - drum roll please - it's for her OWN bathroom watercloset! Alanna and her hubby have been sharing the ups and downs of the renovation of their historic Calgary home on instagram, check out their hashtag to follow their journey! 🐍

The interior doors at our project, a collaboration with our friends are each a work of art on their own! Clean and crisp single shaker doors showcasing chevron matched white oak veneer... can we get an amen?!
