THE ALFA PROJECT WAS DEVELOPED TO CREATE THE MOST COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR ELITE FOOTBALL PLAYERS TO TRAIN IN. ALL ALFA PROJECT COACHES HAVE EITHER PLAYED OR COACHED AT THE CIS OR CFL LEVELS AND KNOW WHATS EXPECTED TO PLAY AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS IN CANADA. OUR MAIN GOAL IS TO GET PLAYERS BIGGER, FASTER AND STRONGER WHILE STILL HAVING A FOCUS ON FOOTBALL SKILLS AND INJURY PREVENTION.
ALFA| Fundamentals of Lifting - Summer Edition 🌞 (Link in the Bio 📱)
The ALFA | Fundamentals of Exercise and Lifting Program is just that, a program dedicated to teaching young athlete how to properly and safely exercise in a gym environment. Athletes will be accompanied by experienced coaches who will take the time to teach the fundamentals of exercise and lifting. Throughout the program, athletes will learn how to properly perform exercises, understand important ques, correctly read and understand programs and much much more. The purpose of the program is not only to get the athletes stronger for their next season but also to develop a rock solid foundation for years of safe and effective weight training. Athletes coming back and continuing the program will build on previous skills and knowledge learned to further their lifting journeys.
Programs are designed by our in-house Sports Scientist in combination with our numerous Strength and Conditioning Coaches. With the years of experience working with University & Professional Athletes, you know that your athlete will be getting the best program Calgary has to offer. Our philosophy has not only been to get your athlete Bigger, Faster & Stronger; but also to keep them safe and healthy both in the weight room and on the field. This is achieved by programing specific exercises and movements that focus on prehab and mobility. This will not only help with increasing your overall speed, strength and power, but will help reduce injuries.

THE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PROGRAM
The ALFA| High School Program is a 12 week program designed for athletes who want to take their game to the next level or prepare for their next season. You will be exposed to scientific phased based programming that will allow your body to develop in the most effective way possible and peak physically right before main camp. Programs are designed by our in-house Sports Scientist in combination with our numerous Strength and Conditioning Coaches. With the years of experience working with University & Professional Athletes, you know you will be getting the best program Calgary has to offer. Our philosophy has not only been to get you Bigger, Faster & Stronger but is to keep you safe and healthy both in the weight room and on the field. This is achieved by programing specific exercises and movements that focus on prehab and mobility. This will not only help with increasing speed, strength and power on the field and in the weight room, but will help reduce injuries.
SCHEDULES
We offer 3 schedule options for our Run/Lift sessions. Option 1 will be 4 days a week ( Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri ), Option 2 will be 3 days a week ( Mon/Wed/Thu ) And 2 days a week (Mon/Wed). All Sessions will be an hour and a half long with 30 minutes dedicated to linear straight ahead running and change of direction mechanics and the remaining 60 minutes being for the lift. During the run time, we will also teach you key Combine techniques that have helped a number of our athletes get drafted to the CFL.

The Sevens will be competing in the Champions League 7v7 association summer season which will include 6 game days as well as playoffs to determine the best team in Calgary! The ALFA| In Season Training Program is the dedicated to maintaining what was initially built in the off-season. It also aims to reduce the risk of injury through specific exercises targeted at the shoulders, ankles and knees.
You will be exposed to scientific phased based programming that will allow your body to develop in the most effective way possible while keeping you explosive for the season. Standards and expectations will be set to 100 as this program progress throughout the 9 weeks. Programs are designed by our in-house Sports Scientist in combination with our numerous Strength and Conditioning Coaches.
