Monochrome Imperial Chocolate Stout
9% ABV | 50 IBUs

Back again for a good time, not a long time, our annual batch of Monochrome is finally ready, and graces the Citizen taproom with its magnitudes of decadence, and layers of flavour.

This all grain, imperial stout starts with a luscious base layer of barley, wheat, and oats, combined with 5 specially selected dark and roasted malts, a dash of Brambling Cross hops, for some black currant notes, and a metric tonne of cocoa (okay, a fraction of a metric tonne, but it's a lot), to create the ultimate holiday indulgence. An extra long conditioning time, ensures Monochrome goes down smooth, and silky.

Expect a smoothly roasted stout, with huge chocolate character, and subtle notes of black currant.

Available in the taproom NOW, in 14oz pours, and in SINGLE cans to go!

Those who know it, love it, can't get enough of it and wait for its annual return as the days grow shorter, and colder!

Royal Pine, is about as West Coast as it gets. Big notes or citrus and coniferous greenery compliment it's bold, yet smooth bitterness.

Brewed earlier this year with our CITIZENSHIP crew, inspiration was drawn from Citizen's second batch of beer ever brewed. A little RYE-mix on a Citizen favourite, this new take on the Batch 2 is amped up in every way!! 🍻

Dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic hops, and a healthy addition of rye to the grain bill results in a creamy mouthfeel with a crisp, dry finish. Expect notes of citrus, berries and floral aromas from this beer.

Uncommon Cider has officially launched their 7th Annual Fruit Drive for 2023! 🍎🍏

Each year calls on Calgarians from all over to donate their back yard fruit to make a truly local cider that showcases our cuties amazing fruit - this SUNDAY OCT 16, 2-6 pm we will be hosting Uncommon as a drop-off location 🍻

* Uncommon Cider is looking to collect apples, crabapples, pears and berries that can be soft, bruised or imperfect. Unfortunately that cannot accept any rotten fruit.

This year they have partnered with the Leftovers foundation and part of the proceeds of the 2023 will be donated to this local charity ❤️

Señor Citizen is a malt-forward Mexican lager with subtle herbal, floral and spicy hop characteristics. Darker than your average lager, Señor gets its colour and roasted malt flavours from a good helping of Dark Munich malt and a dash of Pearla Negra. We added a pile of flaked corn, too, making this beer surprisingly light for its dark colour. Our Señor is a people pleaser, crafted for big beer drinkers and those looking for lighter, barely hoppy option.
