Water Walk Volunteer General Information 10/11/2017

The Water Project reports that children in Sub-Saharan Africa carry an average of 10 pounds (5.5kg) or more (water plus the container), which can also cause physical damage to a child’s body. Adolescent women carry up to 45 pounds (20kg).

Hope 2 Opportunity has chosen to focus on three different organizations that are committed to ensuring reserves in Canada or Sub Saharan African communities have access to clean water, and sustain the infrastructures that implement clean water programs.
