Big new moon vibes over here, in addition to add the new beginnings energy initiated by the winter solstice. I know that this has triggered a lot of inner work for me, as I imagine is true for many others. I've been busy working through these changes, and thus haven't been posting as much.
But, for fun, here is a pic of the new bloodstone runes I got from my mama (Watson thinks they're fun also).

Coffee and cards 🔮💜
After a very long hiatus, I am pleased to say that I am back. I unintentionally took a break from this page during the busiest period of the school semester. Now that the term is over, I'm breathing a sigh of relief and coming back home, to myself, to my practice. Enjoying this grounding morning ritual as I transition into a temporarily chill period of time.
How do y'all create space for your spiritual practice when life gets crazy busy? Share all your tricks with me before winter term begins 🙌🏻

When life is like a rollercoaster, as it is now, I find myself drawn more often to my cards. Sometimes I ask a specific question, but other times I focus on trying to bring forward whatever wisdom or knowledge I need to get through the day. Your cards can serve as reminders for wisdom you already carry within yourself, but are sometimes too distracted to remember.

Being a witch isn't all about elaborate rituals, full moons, and feast days. Sometimes it's waking up and feeling drawn to your cards, pulling them over a sleepy cup of tea, and expressing gratitude for your gifts. This path isn't something you DO, it's something you ARE. Don't get caught up thinking you need to heavily ritualize yourself to practice. Sit in your own energy, listen to it, and honour its uniqueness. Happy Witchy Wednesday.

Happy Mabon! The fall equinox occurs when the light and dark take up equal amounts of time in our day. From this point, the nights will grow longer and cooler as we make our way toward winter. To celebrate, my family and I are sharing a meal and making an apple crisp ( for me!) to celebrate the harvest! Now is a wonderful time to reflect on what you are grateful for and bring more of that energy into your life to keep you warm as the nights get longer ❤️

I have been regrettably absent from this account and have not had as much time to work on the website lately because my personal life has been very busy! In my regular life, I am a full-time student and the start of term has been a bit hellish - all good things, but too many of them 😅

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been a bit quiet on the social media front - your girl is a you know?
Bad news - I innocently thought I would have the website up and running for y'all by the beginning of September and I'm sorry to say that just ain't happening! I've been very busy with other areas of my life and designing the site has been more time consuming than anticipated!
Good news - it's going to be so cooooool when it's finished! The goal is to have a strong foundation of witchy education for beginners and then to have a blog where I can delve deeply into particular topics of interest. I can't wait to share it with you all, but I want it to be just right! I promise it will be with the wait!

Today marks the full moon in Pisces, are you ready for it? I don't know about the rest of you, but I am feeling that need to release, slow down, and go with the flow today. The full moon is a wonderful time to reflect on what you are manifesting in your life and what you need to release along the way in order to get there. I drew cards this morning to help facilitate this process, and they reminded me that I have put in lots of hard work and have so much abundance coming into my life that this period of transition and rebirth is inevitable. What this told me is that perhaps I don't need to relentlessly push myself to reap the benefits of what I have sown. If I continue to release old habits that no longer serve me and focus on what I want to bring into my life, it will come. I don't need to push so hard. So RELEASE baby, get your flow on. It's Witchy Wednesday! This week I worked on creating my very own reiki box! The idea is simple enough - construct or purchase a wooden box and paint it using colours and symbols that suit your purposes. Then, you can fill the box with your intentions or the names of people you want to send reiki to.
