I love looking back through past Halloween photos and my kids’ costumes. Halloween looks a lot different with 3 teenagers!

As a kid, I always DIY’d my costumes and also had a big “tickle trunk” (for all you Mr. Dress Up fans!) My most fave costume ever made was a handcrafted Tide Laundry Detergent box right down to the very detail. 🤣 I desperately wish I would have had a photo - I was so proud of that one!

Starting this week off right with a warm fuzzy from a happy client ✨

Do you still use business cards? Well, I certainly love designing them for my clients! 🥰

I remember being at a conference pre-Covid and there was a table set up where attendees could share a stack of their cards without having to actually interact 🤣. It was called “introverted networking” - and those that know me, know I’m here for it!

One of the main reasons why business cards continue to be used is their tangible nature. When you meet someone at a networking event or a business meeting, the act of exchanging business cards adds a physical element to the interaction. Holding a solid piece of paper with contact details feels more personal and memorable than a digital exchange alone.

Furthermore, a business card allows for instant recognition and identification. With a quick glance, you can see the person’s name, company, and title. In a professional setting where time is often limited, this immediate access to key information can be invaluable!

Lihtan Therapy Collective is a Calgary-based psychotherapy clinic that specializes in all aspects of your mental health, especially trauma, addiction and ADHD. Lihtan is a wonderful team of experienced therapists who offer a unique approach to therapy and they have been a delight to work with! ✨

Lihtan Therapy Collective (pronounced lih-tan) taken from the Old English Saxon word for making something lighter or less heavy, which is ultimately the overall feel of the brand, website and marketing.

Here’s a little tour of this recent project…

Phew! Well that was an incredibly long and welcomed hiatus from social and I’m slowly (and reluctantly) coming back to life on this app. This summer was a bit of a rollercoaster and whirlwind all at once. We managed to bank some awesome core memories and check off things on our summer bucket list. And at the same time, I crushed about a dozen projects. Lots to share!

Wishing everyone a happy return to school. We are in full swing on this end. I now have a 17 year old in her last year of high school, and my younger two are both in Junior High. My daughter is excited she can walk across the street for french fries during her lunch hour (its the little things!) 🍟 and my son just made the volleyball team 🏐 which makes this mama so excited and proud! Praying for a bully-free and happy year! Teach your kids to be kind! ✌🏻

I’ve been brainstorming summer bucket lists with my kids since they were very little, and now that they are teens - I think it’s even more important! We also co-parent, and I have my kids about 70% of the time which makes me determined to maximize my time with them. And, a hard pill to swallow, but this is my last full summer with my oldest before she rushes off to post-secondary next year. *gulp*

Phew! I have a lot of balls in the air but absolutely love what I do, and hope to balance all of my design work and incredibly gracious clients with a fun and fulfilling summer with my kiddos. ❗️ And real talk, somedays I don’t know if I’m coming or going, and wish I could be outside soaking up sun and sipping a coffee, but I know I gotta do what I gotta do to build this empire (and buy groceries 🍎 and pay for a car for my 16 year old! 🚗) Time management is key!! And so is a lot of grit and determination…

“You do not rise to the level of your goals; you fall to the level of your systems” emphasizes the importance of daily habits and processes in achieving desired outcomes. Rather than solely focusing the end goal, it is essential to pay attention to the systems and habits that will lead to the desired result. Whether it’s decluttering your desk for better workflow, implementing a new routine in your home gym, not indulging in that daily Starbucks to save money, developing a bedtime routine for better sleep, or even an efficient practice process at the driving range ⛳️

Happy Friday! A quick little tour of the brand! 🐅 💪🏻 🔥

The concept is modern, fresh and sophisticated. Even with a less is more approach, the logo still makes a bold statement. The # sign represents the four pillars of the original brand thought, as well as financial literacy, education, and freedom. The palette is cool and sophisticated with the primary neutrals of black and cloud, but sprinkling of rose and fuschia for a bit of femininity and sass, and a dijon colour to add depth and contrast.

Nearly wrapped up this powerhouse brand for Smart Girls Divorce Strategy Hilary and I made fast friends and I’m definitely a fan girl of her content. Seriously, if you are going through, or have gone through divorce - her feed is a must follow.

Hilary is a divorce coach and strategist building a community to educate and connect women through divorce. Real and raw talk about co-parenting, financial stability and independence, with the end goal of getting women a better outcome in divorce. I think a community like this is SO needed and essential. I know so many women, myself included, that had no real idea where to begin and the steps to take. And, unless you have gone through it or are going through it - you really have no idea! There’s a dark cloud around this topic but so much liberation, freedom and pride can come to you. Take it from someone who KNOWS. Follow along at

I recently wrapped up this design for a new local pharmacy opening in Aspen Spring in the next few months. The client invested in the The Goldfinch Logo Package which is perfect for new business owners who need a mini brand package quickly or need a modern refresh on their existing logo! This will set up your foundation for a sophisticated start in business.

We were inspired by the great outdoors... with a modern, natural palette reflecting the forest and mountain lakes. The primary custom illustrated graphic element is the A character which represents a mountain peak. Coupled with the leaf, the A character is representative of the aspen tree, nature, and the outdoors. I think we achieved a design that is more unique and a less conventional design within this niche, and overall fresh and friendly! 🍃 ⛰️

MAYNN Brands empowers wine and spirits clients to expand their brands and seize grader market share through bespoke strategies tailored to their individual requirements. And MAYNN Table offers exclusive elegance meticulously tailors wine selections and experiences.

Together, we have developed a thoughtful, sophisticated, luxurious brand that certainly makes a statement. The project included two beautiful logo packages and two gorgeous Squarespace websites to compliment.
