Dear valued customers,
We regret to inform you about our new business days. We will be temporarily closed on Tuesdays followed by Mondays, our usual closure day.
Since COVID-19, we have been operating with few staff to continue providing affordable meals in the face of inflation. However, due to lack of staff and time, we have not been able to develop our menu and had inconsistent services. We are currently looking for new staff and will no longer be open on Tuesday until they are fully trained.
Again, we will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays until further notice to provide better food and service.

It has been 4 years since we opened Shimizu Kitchen with ambition to provide delicious japanese cuisine and joy that good healthy food brings, all at honest price.
Even with unprecedented circumstances around the world, including COVID pandemic, and now inflation, we stayed stubborn to provide affordable prices.
Unfortunately, now we are unable to keep up with rising ingredient prices and reluctantly came to a decision to increase our prices by $1.00 for all dishes on the menu.
We sincerely apologize for coming to decision to increase our menu prices and we thank you for your continued support. We will continue to provide our customers the best Ramen in Calgary!!
