Something sweet for World Vegan Day at Canela in Calgary, where the cinnamon buns are legendary, along with many other sweet treats. I dropped in for my story on eating veggie in Cowtown, a delicious story for .ca.

HAPPY WORLD VEGAN DAY!

For me, everyday is world vegan day and I practice it in my day-to-day life because not only is it a celebration, it is a practice of patience and constantly finding alternatives. Today is also a day of awareness and inviting those who do not practice veganism in their day-to-day life to try it just for a day. To those who like our baking and our products without being vegan, thank you for choosing to try vegan alternatives and keeping your mind open to another world of vegan possibilities. We don't know what happened but we took a really hard look at our cinnamon buns and asked ourselves, "how could we make this better?" The answer was simple, go back to the OG cream cheese recipe, and we are happy to report our cinnamon rolls are better and creamier than ever. You''re welcome 😉
