THE DEETS:
A young woman wakes up in the apartment of a woman she went home with to find someone very different. Four siblings argue over their brother’s girlfriend in a hospital waiting room. A couple celebrates their anniversary during hurricane season. A young woman has hired a comedian to teach her the art of comedy. Two women share a cab on their way home and the gloves come off. A couple on a train platform navigates the most challenging moment of their relationship.

“Garden” by Alan Aykbourn- our Spring MainStage production. Their great comic performance was shared with enthusiastic audiences for three shows at the beautiful theatre at West Island College. I saw Saturday’s final performance- well done everyone! So proud of all of you!

Intermediate-Advanced Film- Spring Extra Edition! We’re missing a few actors who were onstage or on set for our last class. Awesome session of film work from this dedicated and talented ensemble of actors. We had a blast laying down some amazing scenes- some were with me for the whole year. Great work everyone! I look forward to continuing our journey together in the fall. With love and gratitude🩷

ONSTAGE PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY!

Whether your preferred medium is theatre or film the experience of performing for a live audience is one of the most exciting, challenging and fun for any actor- a profound learning experience.

Register now for our upcoming July Performance Intensive with Instructor Aaron Coates! Aaron will cast, rehearse and direct students through the entire stage performance process, followed by 3 LIVE performances at Theatre 1308. The class is geared to all levels, so you will work on material that will be challenging, but achievable.

Joe! Just had to share, I’ve booked a lead on a Lifetime feature the last couple weeks! And it’s been an amazing whirlwind. Been thinking about you guys at Rogues a lot lately. I’m so grateful that I started my journey with you at a school that gives such a practical & incredibly solid foundation to work from.

I was just thinking about how if I’d trained somewhere else It would’ve taken a lot longer gaining the technique and skills. Actually for a long time in Vancouver I avoided a lot of the schools cause they didn’t feel as genuine. I didn’t want to undo that head start you guys gave me. I can’t believe how far my career has already gone, never in a million years did I know what I was capable of.
