Our soft launch opening means that for now
• counter service
• no alcohol (hopefully in the next 2 weeks we will have our license)
• no reservations
• appetizer and dessert menu only from 7pm - 9pm
** these will all come with time, as well as a new updated menu, but we are officially soft launching today!

3 years in business! ✨

Wow, what a 3 years it has been! Purchasing and opening our business during a global pandemic was more than terrifying. But the opportunity presented itself and the doors opened so wide that we couldn’t resist.

Looking back now, we have been through so much as a small, local, family owned business. But through every pivot and change, you, our community has been there to support us.
Without this community, we would have never made it. Although things can still get rocky, and scary at times we are very proud to say that we have made it 3 years in business.

We thank you Campbell River for your support every step of the way. We hope you know that every purchase made, every like on social media and every review means so much to us. We are looking forward to another year together 🤍

We are so thrilled to announce that we will be hosting our very first Cooking Class Fundraiser THIS Sunday, November 12 🔪 !!!
** limited spots available, so please read carefully **

This class will be hosted on Sunday, November 12 at Mattone Italian Kitchen from 4:30pm - 7:00pm (ish) 😉
This will be an interactive class with Chef Ryan Gark learning to make fresh homemade pasta from scratch, eating fresh pasta (obviously) and discussing pasta sauces 🍝

All proceeds will be going towards renting and furnishing Ousman’s family an apartment in the Gambia, West Africa.

There are only 15 spots available, so advance sign up will be FCFS.
If you would like to book a spot, we will be accepting payments and signs up as early as tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11am. You must sign up IN PERSON at Mattone Italian Kitchen.

Tickets will be by donation (minimum of $25.00 per person). CASH ONLY. You can sign up and pay for multiple people in advance, no refunds.
Stop by during business hours this week, we are open 11am - 7pm and we will update this post once spots are sold out.

We are an official drop off location this year for The Campbell River Shoebox Project 🤍

Starting November 13th and until Wednesday December 6th, the Drop-Off Locations will be accepting decorated gift-filled Shoeboxes valued at $50 for local vulnerable women!
Our Drop-off Locations will be:
 In Campbell River: Coastal Community Credit Union(Discovery Harbour), La Tee Da Lingerie Boutique(Shoppers Row), or Mattone Italian Kitchen l Mattone Market + Gelato (Willow Point).
 In Port Hardy: North Island Crisis and Counselling Centre Society (Beverly Parnham Way)

Hello Campbell River friends, family and neighbours! We are calling on our community to help us 🤍

We are raising funds for our friend Ousman Bojang that we met almost 11 months ago now. He and his mom and 4 younger siblings live in a country called The Gambia in West Africa. They live with no water, no electricity and hardly any food.
We have been providing food for him and his family since we met and now we as a family are going to invite Ousman to come and live with us on a Visitors Visa.
