Finally finished a small basement reno we started a while back. The customer had trouble trying to find someone to install a dropped ceiling for them, so they asked if we would do it. Sure! I think it turned out pretty good!

At the City of Camrose’s request, we installed some new LED exterior lighting on the public washroom in Jubilee Park. A significant upgrade on the lone incandescent fixture that was there.

Installed some new ceiling fans for a local dealership so that heat could be distributed in their drive-thru bay more efficiently. It should help on these -39C days.

Example #542 of why we don’t recommend ‘backstabbing’ as a method to connect devices. Not sure why the CSA still allows this. A proper pigtail(if needed), and securely fastened wires under the side screws will always be the best method. 👍

Some exterior lighting TLC at a couple local hotels. Luckily, the smoky air wasn’t too bad.

Took advantage of the nice weather to replace existing HPS light fixtures with new LED ones on some street lights for the City of Camrose. Will be a noticeable difference.

Small bathroom reno job for a local customer where we replaced three older style self-lit vanities, with one larger LED backlit mirror. Three colour settings to choose from for the light, depending on customer preference, and an ‘Anti-Steam’ setting to keep hot showers from fogging up the mirror. Incredible technology!

Installed some new LED wall packs for one of our Camrose customers. Will be a noticeable difference from the old metal halide wall packs that were there before.

Took advantage of the nice weather last week to assist some customers with taking their Christmas lights down.

Mother Nature gave us a great day to install another transfer switch board for one of our rural customers. They’ll be able to use a generator during prolonged outages to keep the essentials(and then some) up and running.

Sad day here at Reyn-Felt. After 17 years, our Shop Security Superintendent has moved on to do her mouse surveillance sweeps in the next life. Happy hunting, Tiffy(AKA Danger Cat), we’re going to miss you.

Free pallets if anyone wants. No good to us.

It meant working through Christmas holidays, and every weekend to date in January, but we were able to upgrade the lighting in all five courtrooms(and upper level common area) at the Wetaskiwin Courthouse from existing fluorescent lights to new LED fixtures. A noticeable difference!

On site in Wetaskiwin this morning. A customer called us in to ensure that the electrical service was safe to re-energize in their home after a serious kitchen fire. We were able to confirm that the electrical panel was not damaged in the blaze, while also being able to safely provide an outlet that the restoration company could use for clean-up. Unconfirmed right now, but the suspected cause of the fire may have been from a smartphone in a frying pan. What’s left of the phone is still in the frying pan(pictured).

Upgraded a customer’s exterior lighting on one of their shops to LED wall packs. Much better light at a fraction of the power consumption.
