I have enjoyed meeting and speaking with the community as I’ve campaigned and look forward to continued opportunities to do so. I am proud to call Moore County home and would appreciate your vote in the upcoming election. Early voting starts on Friday, July 15th, and continues until Saturday, July 30th, at the County Building.

It’s been a great week of campaigning. I really enjoyed stopping by the Moore County Senior Citizens on Friday!

Today is Flag Day, marking the June 14, 1777, signing of a resolution that adopted the Stars and Stripes as our national flag. In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson called for the day’s observance, but in 1949, President Harry S. Truman locked in its official date. Never forget what Old Glory stands for 🇺🇸

A little bit late, but Frontier Days was wonderful as always! A big thanks to the Chamber of Commerce, the vendors, and everyone who participated in making this a memorable event.

Another fun night on the campaign trail at Big Oak Farms! Delicious food, great company, fun game of trivia and a little something sweet to top it all off!

I had the honor of attending the Memorial Day Service on the square today. Dr. Buffy Storm was a phenomenal speaker and Miss Meredith Burton graced us with her angelic voice. Ken Moore, Bill Thomas and Phil Gatto all also did a wonderful job. They really caused me to pause and reflect on the importance of this day. Mr. Thomas made the comment that Memorial Day isn’t a happy day; it’s a sad one. Mr. Moore stated that Memorial Day is the most expensive holiday. They’re both right. It’s a day to remember the men and women that paid dearly for the freedoms we enjoy in the United States. I’m thankful to live in this great country. Grateful thanks to all who have served our country and who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Thank you for your service, sacrifice and dedication! I have my freedoms because of your heroism and you make it possible to be the country we are today. God bless!
