Hillsborough Park Youth Groups

Hello everyone! Don’t forget, the afterschool program is running at the Hillsborough community centre ages 12-16. Please feel free to send the kids by if it’s something they might be interested in! The cold weather is almost gone so soon we can start planning some outdoor activities. If new to the program the kids will need registration forms signed before they can attend the youth program.

Had some of the teenagers out today helping clean up some areas of the park that were pretty messy!! Thanks for all the hard work guys!! (Missing a few in the picture as they were too shy hahaha)

Good evening everyone! After a long haul of COVID we seem to finally be getting back to somewhat of a new normal. I apologize for the inconsistency of the Friday night program though due to COVID and other factors it has been difficult trying to keep everything moving smoothly.. next Friday we will be opening the hall up 6-8pm! The program will be run by myself (Kyle Houghton and Matt Harding) please feel free to drop your kids off to participate in some fun games and activities! The program is for ages 8-12! If your child is experiencing any symptoms please do not send them to the program as both myself and Matt have high risk individuals in our lives if they were to get covid!

Hello parents just a heads up! Youth above the age of 12 are required to show proof that they are double vaccinated or unfortunately they won’t be able to participate at the afterschool program! Thanks 🙏

Hello parents! Anything concerning the youth programs run out of the Hall will be posted on this Facebook group! Please make sure to check daily for any new updates such as closures, events and to see what’s going on within the youth programs! One of our BBQs back in June ! Some of the boys thought dipping chips on pop was a good idea 🤣🤣

Thought I would share something we did nice back in May with the older bunch! Painting positive messages on some shells and pieces of wood to put out along the hospital trail! Everyone had a blast 😄

Well we finally got the Volley Ball net we ordered months ago... just put it up and the older kids are loving it! 😀 Park is getting dirty again so I will be posting some pics of the cleanup and we will be having a BBQ with both programs once we are finished!
