🥳Happy 90th to Curl PEI💚🤍💜🥌
Curl PEI was formed 90 years ago. Throughout 2024 we will be highlighting some of the important people who have been instrumental in our story.
On this spring day let's learn a bit about one the most successful curlers in PEI history, Doug Cameron. Cameron recorded 26 Brier wins as skip, and 9 victories as third for a total of 35 Brier victories. Doug also saw success as a coach, his most notable coaching achievement was with the Bill Jenkins rink when they won the 1977 World Junior Curling Championship. Curling competitively from 1950 to 1991 and actively giving back in addition to his curling, Doug sure played a big role in our first 90 years!
