Welcome to our kitchen. This space was so fun to design and presented some unique design problems which we loved working through. The final outcome is modern but warm, balanced and oh so stunning!

There is real magic in a good floor plan. We have no before of the mudroom because they didn’t have one. By moving a doorway and shifting a wall a few inches we gained so much functional space from the old laundry and powder room layout. Good design takes time, but we simply love it when it looks this easy. ​​​​​​​​

Powder rooms are small rooms that you don’t spend a lot of time in, so we find they are the perfect spot to push the boundaries and become a little more adventurous in the design. Whether we play with material selections, colour, pattern, or all of the above, we love to make your guests smile when visiting these tiny spaces.

We could not be more happy with how the powder room turned out. It’s moody, layered, and definitely makes everyone smile.

As I dig deeper into what I love about my work, I recognize that it is connection that pulls me in and holds me here. Creativity is the same as being present, both require you to be tethered to the moment and connect on a level that is beyond aesthetics.
I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again. No matter you style, INDEX has a solution for you. It is not style or taste that drives good design, but instead empathy, genuine connection and the ability to be tethered to the moment.

Home… I love this word. It may even be my favourite word. To me home is not about things that create it, but instead the moments and memories created by it.
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18
I’m always so humbled when a client allows me in on their own home journey…. allowing INDEX to focus on the seen, so they are able to focus on the unseen.
