This morning, we had the privilege of stopping by the CKHA Boutique Grand Gift Shop to meet with Isabelle, Elinor, and other members of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Helping Hands Auxiliary and to accept another generous donation of $2,125 towards Melissa Harrigan's 'Her Fight is Our Fight' fundraising campaign! This gift was comprised of funds raised through the sale of 'Her Fight is Our Fight' t-shirts produced by Authier Print & Promotional Ltd. Tilbury.

Melissa was diagnosed with breast cancer in late 2022, and launched this fundraising campaign earlier this year. Her positive and optimistic outlook over the ensuing months has been truly inspirational, as she has fully committed to making her journey with breast cancer a meaningful one.

Melissa launched this campaign with the goal of raising $10,000. With this morning's donation, the campaign has now raised OVER $30,000 to support the purchase a new VELA Mammography Chair and to fund needed enhancements to the Mammography room at CKHA! Given the extraordinary success of her campaign, additional funds raised will be used to support other high priority needs within CKHA's Diagnostic Imaging Department.
