The Dress for Your Rights! program is also looking for donations (or long-term loans) of a couple of sewing machines in good working order. Prepared to be impressed by what emerges from them! First community dinner since 2020! Some of us have really missed these dinners over the past two years, and some of us attended dinner tonight for the first time ever 🥰

Our main season field is lookin so gorgeous with the aid of some early season warmth, allowing us to come in and do some full-on tidying. We are excited to have all beds leaf mulched and top dressed with compost, and most pathways lined with chip mulch from the surrounding hedgerow downed branches. It feels so good to be so cyclical in the uses of detritus. Some curiosities we have this year are: can we inoculate our mulch paths with wine caps to aid in mycelial communication, and would inoculated bales on the edge in the shade survive to grow varieties of oyster mushroom? Stay tuned!
