Hi everyone
Thank you for your patience as we address this issue. After an in-depth discussion with my team and our technician, Jenny, we have come to the conclusion that we need to address Nauness's story. I hope our customers can look from both sides to have a fair understanding of the situation. Despite facing numerous baseless criticisms, I chose to remain silent and offer a genuine apology to Nauness for any distress caused. However, when she requested an additional $375 to remove her post. I felt compelled to speak up in defense of my shop and other businesses as well. It is important for us to share our perspective and stand up for our dedicated 5 months pregnant technician, Jenny, who involved in this situation.

Rest assured that we have gathered all the necessary information regarding this incident. With customers present as witnesses and 6 cameras in the shop, we have a comprehensive record of the events.

When Jenny began working on Nauness's nails, Nauness started to feel unwell and began to vomit. Jenny and another employee quickly provided her with paper towels, and we suggested that Nauness return on a different day to complete her nails. However, Nauness insisted that she was okay and expressed a strong desire to proceed with getting her nails done that day. Nauness’s nails was close to done , she was deciding between a French tip design or leaving them in their natural color. Feeling nauseous, Nauness decided to postpone the nail painting French to another day and expressed her desire to proceed to pay. Jenny then charged her $45 plus tax but did not request payment for the French tip design ( we didn’t charge her for the full price) Furthermore, we had Emily perform the French tip design on Nauness's nails yesterday at no additional cost, and we also provided her with a couple gift certificates to make her feel better and she was very grateful after receiving $200 gift certificates . Later that day, she messaged the owner and ask for additional $375.

We want to emphasize that there were several individuals present at our shop at the time, including both our employees and customers. We were all deeply concerned for Nauness's well-being, with many people checking on her condition and offering help. One of our customers even kindly offered to give Nauness a ride home. Jenny consistently asked Nauness if she was okay or needed assistance. Please rest assured that we would never leave someone in distress, especially if they were experiencing a seizure, without promptly taking appropriate action, such as calling for emergency medical assistance.

Lastly, I would like to express my support for Jenny, our dedicated and hardworking team member. Jenny is our most diligent worker, commuting from Burnaby every day, even while being five months pregnant. She truly embodies commitment and professionalism, and it is disheartening to see her subjected to such negative energy.
