The story behind my such colourful quilt.
I had a very special Aunty that loved to quilt but she did a much different kind of quilting. They were some kind kit piece quilts. When she passed my Uncle gave me all her quilting fabrics and machine. There were a bunch of blocks done which were for a queen. I had to make more blocks and my Uncle said he would love to have it if it were made into a king duvet cover. I filled his wishes and he got to use it for a few years until he passed and I now believe my cousin (their Son) has that beautiful Log Cabin duvet
I wanted to do something with all the colorful pieces and this is my quilt I finished. Although she made some amazing beautiful quilts I love and had fun doing this one. Will always make me think of a very special Aunty and Uncle. ❤️
