LET'S BREAKDOWN ✨CONSULTATIONS ✨ If you are "studying" prior to your hair consult, trying to determine the name of the colour and cut you'd like, take a breath. We don't expect you to know the terminology or even exactly what you want. We will work WITH you to come up with a plan that supports your hair goals. Here’s what you can expect us to ask you during your consultation:
• What do you like about each inspiration/reference photo you've curated? (Please do this prior to your consult so we have a starting point)
• Can you describe the specific look or style you're aiming for?
• What’s your day-to-day styling routine?
• Are you looking for a dramatic change, and if so, are you prepared for the maintenance it might require?
• Do you have any long-term goals for your hair, such as growing it out or maintaining a particular style?
• Are there any specific milestones or events in the future that you're styling your hair for? (Please let us know if your wedding is coming up!)
• How would you describe your hair's natural texture (straight, wavy, curly, tightly curled)? (If possible, come to your consolation with your hair natural so we can also help you determine your curl type)
• Do you have a tone preference?

While every appointment with any of our stylists starts with a consultation, we also encourage you to book a completely separate consultation, especially if you are unsure of the direction you'd like to go. HOW LONG DO I NEED TO TRANSITION TO BLONDE? | As with everything in life, it truly depends on the individual. Virgin hair tends to lift more quickly and may only require one or two sessions, while previously dyed hair may have to transition in stages over a few months since the hair is already compromised. And if your hair inspo is on the more extreme side (light ash, platinum blonde), you may require more than one session, virgin hair or not.
