I will be working out of town weekdays for the foreseeable future, although any changes in weekday availability will be posted here and the online booking will open for those days when they are announced available.

This year we will once again be opening our doors to those in need during the cold season starting tonight (Nov 21st 2022). This heated space will be available 24/7 to those needing shelter from the elements. If you are in need of shelter please visit us at 20 Hamilton Rd, Port Hope, ON, L1A 4B9.

We would like to express that, although we are happy to open our doors to those in need, we are once again doing this due to the failures of local government to provide the basic necessities to local citizens.

Our government continues to apply temporary band-aid solutions that consistently fail long term. Citizens are again being failed by their new mayors.

Instead she wrapped them in a promise, to heal herself from all of the pain carried by all of the people before it got to her. So that the passing along of pain, would find its death with her.

Timing is everything! RIGHT TIME - RIGHT PLACE - RIGHT PEOPLE!

In the last 5 years while with my previous company, I met some amazing and inspiring men and women who after spending time with them, I imagined what it would be like to work alongside.

Fast-forward to a couple months ago, I was chatting with one of these friends about the upcoming changes in my holistic practice, and how I was struggling with balancing the exciting changes while reclaiming my health. I for sure was not interested in starting over AGAIN with a new company, especially at this point in my life, but my health was in crisis, and I was definitely intrigued by the gut-health and mental wellness focus of this new company, it aligned with my practice, and would be a perfect addition ... but most importantly it was exactly what I needed!

Today I feel so much better, I am surrounded by a team/family of the mentors I have looked up to for years, and even dear friends I worked alongside on a humanitarian trip! My literal dream community. We are a part of the fastest growing team in the company, and even though the company is in pre-launch stage in Canada, I have already doubled my income, which is such a blessing to be able to work from my phone especially since I will need to take time off after my surgery.

I have shared in my stories the incredible difference I have felt this last month! Don't get me wrong... there are some big emotions and life changing events happening, and I have sat in the mud with those feelings this month... but I was not stuck there!

In addition, if you aren't in my close circle, you may not know that I am having a surgery in the next couple months. (Date TBD) But the process has been long, and prior to that I have had over 5 years of medical teams poking and proding, trying to find a way to help my body balance. Autoimmune inflammation, Crohn's pain, bloating, 80 lbs of weight gain from steroids and other meds, I sank deep and have been trying to find away out of the shadows since.

30 days ago I started these supplements, my gut pain is much less, the bloating way less, mood so much better, and anxiety ingeneral at an all time low. I have been doing the work, the best I could with what I had for years, even taking meds that made me sooo sick. Well now I am med free, and I even lost 8 lbs (seems like such a little bit... but without meds this has not been possible for years)

I was completely shocked yesterday when I was at the grocery store at both the rising cost and by how many empty spaces there were in the produce section 😳

It's certainly strange and unpredictable times we're living in to say the least. I am beyond grateful for my veggie garden, and both my outdoor and my indoor Tower Gardens because I am able to grow food for my family at home. What I cant grow, I am thankful for the local farmers markets! My grocery store list is SO much smaller now that I only need a few items.

Not only does it save me money from no longer having to buy all of my produce from the store, but it's also much healthier and more nutrient dense than what I would get at the store.

While our outdoor growing season is limited, there's never been a bad time to invest in a Tower Garden, and with the way things are right now, there's also never been a better time.

I am a little late on my journaling this morning, but as i wrapped up i couldnt help but notice the rainbow on my desk from my Aura Rose Quartz! (From my amazing supplier ) I LOVE RAINBOWS and their promise of a fresh start!

This morning I'm definitely feeling the feels! There have been so many changes the last few years, sometimes my brain has to catch up and feel! Switching my career from a trauma based, adrenaline space, to an intentional supportive healing space, and serving others has been so amazing! Having a partner who supports my 180 switch... well there are just no words. Watching our family grow, being with my daughter as my grandchildren took their first breath. Watching my boys graduate and thrive. I almost dont recognize my life!

One thing that I have been really good at though, is surpressing all the residual trauma from my past. Taking care of everyone else is my specialty... but ignoring my own mental and physical health has been a bad habit I am working really hard at breaking!

My holistic approach to health is based on balance, whole food nutrition, and mental wellness! I'm kind of a nerd... and I love all the science facts, I love crystals and herbs, I love growing my own food, and I am learning to love myself more, and putting my own mental wellness first!
