Important News Update regarding NEW BC Tenancy Rules 🏠 Starting July 18, 2024, new regulations will affect how evictions for owner occupancy are handled in BC. Home buyers must now provide a 4-month notice period instead of 2 months when seeking vacant possession. Also, Landlords must use the new Landlord Use Web Portal to create eviction notices, ensuring transparency and preventing misuse.

1. Empty the garbage can daily
2. Clean out the refrigerator
3. Grind up citrus peels in your garbage disposal
4. Check your dishwasher as needs to be cleaned occasionally
5. Sprinkle baking soda on carpets and rugs before you vacuum
6. Open a window and let the fresh air in
7. Use a pet deodorizer
8. Drop a few drops of essential oils onto your air conditioner filter or furnace filter
9. Clean soft surfaces- throw pillows, carpets, bed linens, window coverings
10. Deal with any moisture issues that may be producing unwanted smells
