Our pets are family and we miss them when they walk (or in this case fly) over the rainbow bridge 🦜 Pepe lived until he was 44 and undoubtedly was loved all those years by his owners Anna and Arron.

Although he belonged to Anna first, when she met Arron, Pepe soon became fond of her partner and they were the best of buds till the very end ❤️‍🩹 Arron was heartbroken when Pepe passed and so Anna contacted me to make something special to hang in their office. This the moment she gave him this special gift.

It makes me so happy to see how much this made his day and how he shed a few tears at her thoughtfulness to do this. ❤️

This quilt was recently shown at QuiltCon in the USA, where there are rampant school shootings. I believe the quilter is trying to get across the message that it’s too easy for anyone to buy a gun with no training, background checks, licenses, etc.

Merry Christmas to this beautiful family who recently lost a loved one.

Just over a week before Christmas I was asked if I still had time to make 3 memory pillows for Christmas. I couldn’t say no ❤️‍🩹

So I stitched these up for the family - along with some Angel wings I embroidered from fabric of the same shirts. I only recently found this embroidery design and it was my first time stitching them out. They turned out beautifully and was the “cherry on top” for the gifts that were given on Christmas Day ❤️
