We are excited to see you all tomorrow Arks Harvest Cornwall and will be participating in handing out candies at Cornwall Square thanks to our amazing volunteer Nicole Truesdell and her little adorable fairy! They donated 350 Goodies to share with you all!!!!!! Thank you so so much you are appreciated beyond words. YAY! Bring on the littles!

We had such an amazing weekend with you all and are so excited to get back to it next weekend! We have posted our hours and address to our cover page. Your job is to share it with everyone you know. Some of you may know who we are but many of you don’t. We are a not for profit food share program ran by the community, by you. We will continue to work hard at giving you our best but the success of this program relies on your commitment to shopping with us and spreading the word. We have only touched on the surface of the plans we have for you. If you want to see what else we have planned keep coming the best is yet to come! Thank you all for your love and support.

You all are wonderful! We had an amazing day with you all. I don’t think you all understand just how much we love seeing you all each week. It makes our entire week special being able to share food with you all. 24 Bushels of beautiful apples gone today! To be exact that’s 960 lbs of apples shared!!! We have about 4 bushels at our other location let us know if you Sunday shoppers would like us to bring some. Also keep your eyes open we will be posting discounts tomorrow! We love and appreciate each and every one of you more than you know.

Grandma Dynamite will be with us again tomorrow from 11-2pm with a discount on their Pumpkin squares! Yummy!

We will be open tomorrow 9:30-4pm with our apple specials! Local Macintosh, Empire & Cortland apples up for grabs.

Our truck came at 6pm tonight and we were able to get all our apples bagged for you and 90% of food on the tables in only an hour!!!! What a night.

Arks Harvest is such a fast paced food moving business and works solely off community involvement. We are always looking to add to our family as volunteers come and go, new shifts open. We are again requesting volunteers for new available shifts. We hope to work with you soon! Keep your eyes open 9 emails recently sent!

What I love about volunteering at Arks and getting my produce there is that I can blanche my veggies and bag them in the freezer for later. 🥕🥕🥕 It takes minutes (and some ice) and voilà! So much cheaper than purchasing a ready made bag in your grocery store! These are going to freeze for a little bit then they are off to get bagged and placed back in the freezer! 😉

We will have some beautiful LOCAL Garlic for you all this weekend! 4 different varieties available and CORNWALL you are so lucky you get FIRST pick!

🧄Music🧄 Carried over from Italy to Canada in the 1980’s this Garlic has become a favorite among chefs. Taste ranges from mild to medium hot with a musky,rich taste.

🧄Portugal Azores🧄 A porcelain variety from the Azores Islands this large bulb packs a punch with a strong spicy flavour. Consider adding it to a bruschetta.

🧄Crème du la Rasa🧄 This beautiful garlic has a purple tint to the outside and is rich and sweet to taste. Perfect for salsa.

🧄Northern Quebec🧄 Considered a heritage variety from Quebec this garlic is growing in popularity with a built in smoke flavour.
