This Friday, Pitt Street is shutting down for the annual Art Walk. This is an event you don't want to miss! The talent is unreal, the diversity is abundant and the vibes are so good! I hope to see you there!

YOUTH SKATE JAM: Cornwall to Akwesasne Skatepark Event

Saturday July 27th & Saturday August 3rd from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Akwesasne Skatepark for youth ages 11 to 17. Free Transportation by bus from Cornwall Benson Centre (800 Seventh St. W). Join us for exciting skate activities! Prizes to be won! Snacks and water provided! Registration required.

What to expect:

*Welcome: General information and expectations regarding respecting the skatepark
*Lessons with skate instructors
*Skate demonstration
*Snacks, graffiti art activity, games and free skate
*Closing: Prizes and shoutouts

****Participants MUST arrive at the Benson Centre (800 Seventh St. W) by 10:00 am at the very latest, no exceptions.

Schedule:

*Participant Arrival at Benson Centre (check-in/waiver signing): 10:00 am
*Bus leaves Benson Centre: 10:45 am
*Bus Leaves Akwesasne Skate Park: 3:15 pm
*Bus Return to Benson Centre: 4:00 pm

What you will need to bring:

*Lunch (optional, snacks and water will be provided)
*Backpacks to store your items
*Reusable water bottle
*Sunscreen
*Hat
*Helmet, knee pads and elbow pads encouraged
*Skate shoes or running shoes
*Skateboard (there will be 10 boards available to lend out)
*Health card

PLEASE NOTE: A guardian must sign a liability waiver before departure & youth must bring a valid health card on the day of the event.

I am excited to announce I will be partaking in the Kingston Defeat Depression Event. An amazing event in support of an important cause! I look forward to cheering on participants through the day while being a vendor.

Saturday is around the corner and I am excited to be part of the Hop Into Spring Craft and Art show at Knox-St.Paul's United Church.
