I was just thrilled when Ellie popped into my shop on the weekend. I offered her a canvas, some paint and a brush and it was game on from there. She was quick to chose her favourite colours, which I have to admit were fantabulous 💕🦋💜. This little sweetheart definitely created a masterpiece 🥰

I posted a sneak peek last week and I am now ready to show you the finished product. I added quite a bit of texture to this bachelors chest along with some raised stenciling to get this look. The colours I used to create this black cherry effect are Dixie Belle’s caviar and Rustic Red.

Did I put the paper on upside down and have to order more? Yup!! I wish I could say that was the first time I’ve done that but it was not 🤭. Anyhoo, this gal will be coming with me to the W3G Annual Trunk sale at Marlins Orchard in the beginning of November (I’m cold just typing the word November). I will have all new pieces for this show so I will be a busy bee getting ready…it’s only 8 weeks away!

Where have I been? I took a much needed second vacation 🤭 and ended up in Salem, MA with some very special friends. This sneak peek is my inspiration from all the beautiful sights. I like to call it Dark and Romantic 🖤. I can’t wait to finish it up!!

I love getting to spend time with this man❤️. We decided last Tuesday that we were leaving the next morning and taking a ride to Niagara Falls. It is such a beautiful place to visit. The old time photo was so much fun too, at least they where able to get my hubby to take a picture without making a silly face!

Also, I cannot confirm nor deny that I may or may not have grabbed a couple of pieces of furniture along the way…definitely wasn’t 3 pieces 🤭😇

Now back to paint!!

I am taking a couple days off for a little break but in the meantime, here is a sneak peek of what I will be finishing up when I get back. The colours chosen are from an inspiration picture my client will be hanging in her room. I absolutely love this blend, it is so pretty. I have never used this combo before so stay tuned to see the final reveal 😊

Finished up this French Provincial set for my client Glenda. I absolutely love this style of furniture so combining it with my most requested colour blend was the perfect choice. These colours created a soft and pretty finish to match her decor 🌸.

Funny enough, the next custom I have lined up in my shop is for this exact same bedroom set. It will be fun to see how it looks with a completely different colours palette. Stay tuned for that one 😊

There’s something you should know about me, I have ZERO willpower when it comes to furniture. I added this set to my inventory just last week but I couldn’t keep my hands off of it. 🐮I have really been MOOving along getting all my pieces ready for the Art Walk tomorrow. This cedar chest is a fun little piece and how sweet is the cow decoupage paper from WhimsyKel Designs!!

Another one ready and in the lineup for Friday!! I found the date on this old gal and she was made in 1933, I always wonder what these mirrors have seen over the years…ok maybe I don’t really want to know 🫣😂. On the bright side, she is really soft and pretty and ready to capture more memories!!

A couple of months ago, I sold the dresser with the mirror to my client Mel. Mel asked if I could paint a night stand and a men’s dresser to match and of course I said yes!
I love how this set came together. Even though the nightstand wasn’t originally part of this set, the paint and detail made it one cohesive set.
