Guindon Park Trails

What a hoot! 🦉 Our inaugural Trail Day was a huge success! With our volunteers, we were able to clear fallen trees and branches from trails used for walking, fatbiking, showshoeing and skiing. 🙂 Thank you to everyone who came out, including those not pictured!

The Cornwall BMX Track in Guindon Park (pictured) will be hosting over 500 visiting participants and families this Sunday for the annual Provincial Qualifier event hosted by the Cornwall BMX Club. Welcome to all visitors!

Great day for a walk at the Park. Trials are ungroomed (give the City tome to get out there!) Deer were out exploring this morning!

The trails at Guindon Park are closed until further notice. That's due to extensive damage that was caused to trees during the two recent winter storms.

It will take some time to clean up as crews are currently busy working within priority areas of our city.

Future Guindon Park updates will be posted on our social media sites.

A visitor to the Park is hoping to find a metal detector that was left behind in one of the parking lots at the park. If you found it please let me know so I can help you get it back to its owner! Thank you!

Frustrating to visit the Park this morning to see that some fool had decided to dump a load of shingles off the side of the parking lot. It makes me angry to see that people are so ignorant and refuse to go to the dump and pay a slight dumping fee. They would rather ruin things for everyone else and dump their garbage in a public area. The City of Cornwall

Family Day 2022! A beautiful day to snowshoe through the park!

Guindon Park received quite the facelift this week. New interactive maps as well as several trail markers were installed within the park’s pathways and trails. Why not take advantage of the upcoming Family Day long weekend to check out what's new?

Guindon Park Urban Campground idea to be studied by waterfront group The idea of establishing a multi-million dollar Guindon Park Urban Campground got dusted off by Cornwall council earlier this week and will be studied further.

Looks like we have some beautiful spring weather for the weekend! Make some time to come out and visit the park and explore the trails! Stay safe and be sure to social distance. Hope to see you there!
