I accidentally told people that today was the last down town market. Turns out I was wrong and it goes the 24th! Keep coming and spread the word! I hope everyone enjoys the microgreens they got from us this week!

Sadly we were not able to make our markets this weekend due to a family situation. But that means we have lots of products readily available. We have been working on starting a delivery system around Charlottetown & Cornwall. We decided to give it a go this week and deliver on Wednesday, August 30th. We can deliver right to your door or meet you at one of the designated areas and times. So if you or someone you know would like our product please spread the word. We would love your help to get our healthy products into the hands of fellow islanders.

If you haven't heard of microgreens before then let me tell you a little more about them and why we should all be adding them to our diet. Microgreens are young plants harvested before they are fully mature. They are packed with high vitamin and nutrient content making them a supper food. Research indicated that microgreens contain up to 40% more beneficial nutrients than the full-grown plant. All you do is cut your microgreens before you eat and add them to any of the foods you are already eating. They pair very nicely in your salad or sandwiches. Even though we sell a living product, our product is not meant to grow back after it is cut. The main reason we sell a living product is because we don't want you to lose any of the amazing benefits. We know that when our food is cut from the root source it starts to lose nutritional value over time. Broccoli microgreens gave this broccoli salad an amazing flavour and added nutritions.

We have cut pea shoots at our farm stand in Warren Grove, we tried a new seed for our peas and they grew a little wonky so we decided to cut them. They are packed with lots of nutrients. Come get them before we sell out! $5 for 4oz

These two pictures were taken the same day. 9am and 9pm. At first the micro greens are really yellow. Once they’re under the lights, they turn bright green. These plants just seen light today. We keep our plants in a blackout so that they grow fast. After a few days they are ready to see the light and that’s when they start to turn green. 🌱

We have only a few more of this nutritious trio! You can get this delivered to your door this evening or Saturday morning. If you subscribe weekly you can save some money. Delivering in Charlottetown and Cornwall.
