Lost cat last seen in woods in the center of the subdivision around 8:30 am - he escaped the carrier on his way to the vet - not an outdoor cat

Seen in the woods to the right of our house numerous times, for a couple months now I think, let me know if this cutie has a home!

Effective immediately, May 30, a fire closure order bans all fires in PEI until June 25 or further notice.

This includes campfires and bonfires on private property and at provincial parks and campgrounds.

Domestic brush burning (category 1 burns) is banned, and burning permits are revoked for category 2, 3 and 4 burns, regardless of weather conditions.

Looks like another beauty of a day ahead. Alpine and Nordic are open today from 9am-5:30pm for downhill activities and fatbiking. Cross country ski trails and tubing are closed today. All snow school group lessons are on today.

Lovely day for a hike in the Westwood trails

After almost nine days, we have power back on! 🎉

This maple tree snapped off about ten feet up. I noticed that it had a healthy mini tree near the bottom of its trunk. I protected it with sheet metal while I cut the main trunk down. The little tree should grow quickly with such a large root stock. I have named it the tree of Hope and Inspiration as a symbol of strength as we all continue our restoration efforts from Hurricane Fiona.

With Fiona on the way there could be extended power failures. Filling your bathtub with water can be a good source for refilling your toilet tanks for flushing.
