Dear guests,
As per orders by PEI Public Health, we are closed until further notice as B&B's have been categorized as non-essential. As a result will be cancelling all bookings we already have for May and June. We will be regularly assessing the situation and if it remains the same and the restrictions are not lifted, we will be cancelling further bookings week by week. At this time we are taking new reservations starting July 1st onward. If you have a reservation and would like to cancel or change it, please give us a call. All cancellation and administration fees are waived until the restrictions are lifted. Our hopes are that we will be able to welcome you to PEI by that time but of course only time will tell. In the mean time, please stay safe!

There were 4 ships in the harbour today but I could only capture 2 from across the North River, near home. I also captured a few witnesses. Maybe I should have gotten their permission to post their pictures. Lol I took several pictures, and these 2 were giving me the evil eye the whole time. 😄

Went for a short walk this afternoon to the York Point Community Centre where we took in a Festival of Small Halls performance. Troy MacGillivray on the fiddle and Mac Morin on the piano had everyone in the hall clapping and stomping to great tunes and storytellers Peter Bevan-Baker and Julie Pellissier-Lush did a wonderful job entertaining us with stories of their youth - that were mostly true, stories of how their lives were shaped - that were mostly true, and also a couple of folk legends. The community centre provided delicious refreshments! This Festival takes place every year during the month of June on PEI. You may want to mark your calendar for next year!😊
Strawberry pancakes, Island Taylor Meat sausages, and pea meal bacon!
