OMG!! Graysen (my little zoo keeper) looks SO adorable with my creations 💙 What a sweetheart and such a handsome model!! Glad you like them little buddy! Can’t wait to watch you grow bigger than them LOL

Okay peeps…put your creative hats on!! I need some ideas of future project to try!! I’m house/dog sitting next week and need to organize a project to take with me!! Finished the monkey and have to wait on yarn to finish my other zoo animal!!

Would love suggestions from people!! If you see a pattern or have an idea, let me know!!! Must.keep.my.mind.busy LOL

This is what I worked on while Dad was in hospital!! Don’t think I slept for the whole week so crocheted to stay sane LOL

Her name is “Gabby” and she was the free pattern I got from all the Blippi and Meekah mistakes. She comes with a cat but the cat pattern also has tons of mistakes that I haven’t figured out yet 😫

What should I crochet next?!?!?! Any suggestions?!?!

Now that I’m finally with the land of the living (HOLY nasty head cold I had for 12 days), I can post my latest project I finished right before I got sick! This is Blippi and Meekah and they are from a Netflix kids show that I have never seen before!! I’m guessing he’s kinda like Steve from Blue’s Clues

Pattern had a TON of mistakes and I had to email the author 6 times to report errors! She was SUPER thankful (shocked her pattern testers didn’t catch the mistakes) and was SUPER apologetic! She even gifted me a free pattern for being so helpful! Pattern tester would definitely be my dream job if it wasn’t mainly volunteer work LOL

First shot at making them so I find my Meekah a bit fuller in the face and don’t get me started on Blippi’s glasses LOL Also in the pattern Meekah didn’t have a mouth but I was for sure giving the female of the duo a mouth to speak LOL Their arms, legs and bodies bend! I will deliver them tomorrow and hope little Miss Lyla enjoys them as she’s a HUGE fan of the show!! On to the next project….

6 years ago today, I made the decision to buy a sewing machine and teach myself (via YouTube videos) to sew!! Think I’ve done okay over the last few year! Here are some pics of some of the things I’ve made!

12 years ago today I crocheted my first project that wasn’t a blanket!! I guess I have improved a lot since then! Not too bad for being self taught by YouTube (and some suggestions, tips and tricks from my good friend Patti Murphy) LOL Started doing it to pass the time during my night shifts as a nurse at CHEO! Now you will rarely see me at home without a crochet hook in my hands LOL It keeps my mind busy and helps me relax!!

Well I just delivered these to Kaitlyn so can now post! I have to admit that I have not read the books nor watched the movies so had to do some research LOL

Their hats, scarves, robes and HP’s glasses come off (as well as the owl and rat)! Their arms have wires (and that’s how Hermione holds her book)!

Definitely not perfect but not bad for a first shot at making them! And Kaitlyn loves them and that’s what REALLY matters 🩷

This was my HARDEST project to date!! Not sure how I feel about her but she called for embroidered eyes and a pleated dress!!! She was fun to make and took me a good few weeks so killed a lot of time!!

New animal creations!! I will hopefully get the whole zoo done LOL

It’s been another busy few days!!

Finished my first custom stocking!! I know NOTHING about anime but apparently this young lady’s name is Zero Two! Outside is sublimation ink on fabric to create the image (and snowflakes)! Even have lining in the stocking like a proper one! Name will be vinyl heat pressed on! LOVE learning new things ❤️

Blakely rocking her “My parents did not practice social distancing” Knits & Giggles onsie 💗 OMG she is just the cutest model!!! My heart bursts when I see these! Wait until you see what we are turning her into for Christmas!!!! Stay tuned…
