**JULY 3 POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER**
Tomorrow is going to be soggy and cold, and Sully the Goose has decreed that just won't cut it for our kick-off event. So, we're moving our first Sullivan Session to Saturday, July 24. Catch Tall Poppy and Noel Morgan with live painting by Emily Powers. Sign up for updates at linktr.ee/sullivansessions
Our show is coming up fast, folks! We are so excited to meet with our neighbours, play some live music and enjoy a great afternoon in the sun. As this will be the first time any of us have been at a big event in a while, we thought we'd drop a housekeeping reminder of what restrictions will be implemented on the day of the show.
1. The max capacity is 150 people: This means it will be first come, first served. Socially distanced bubbles will be scattered on the hill where groups of up to 10 people will be able to sit. Once we've reached capacity, patrons without a bubble will need to listen to the show from a farther location in the park.
2. Masks are required when in transit: Once you're in your bubble, you're welcome to take your mask off. If you're travelling outside your bubble the rule is: If you’re less than 6 ft away from someone else, the mask stays on.
3. Help us with contact tracing: QR codes will be posted throughout the park where you will be asked to text your name and number to our system. In the event of an outbreak, public health will be able to contact you based on our records.
We are so grateful for everyone's generosity and support in making this event happen. We so appreciate the community effort to make things safe & fun for the patrons, artists, and volunteers.
See you Saturday! - The Sullivan Sessions Team 🤍
Hello Dartmouth neighbours! We’re so excited to announce the launch of our summer concert series happening at the amphitheater in Sullivan’s Pond starting July 3rd!
The performing arts community has been hit hard by the pandemic. Our collective of Dartmouth-based artists, community members and business owners is looking to create local opportunities for musicians, technicians and artists.
We’re planning four daytime concerts at the pond, the first of which will include George Woodhouse and the Public Service, Noel Morgan Band, and Tall Poppy. This neighbourhood celebration of art and music will give us the opportunity to bring Dartmouth families and communities together for some COVID-safe fun.
Sullivan Sessions is entirely volunteer-run. All proceeds will go towards paying local artists and ensuring the events are kept COVID-compliant.
If you’d like to help bring local artists, musicians, and community members together, consider donating to our Gofundme! (Link in the bio)
We’re so thankful to those who’ve donated so far, we’re already halfway to reaching our fundraising goal! Special thanks to our Title Sponsor and kind neighbour, the East Coast Credit Union .
