For those who use massage therapy services, HST exemption means YOU GET MORE MASSAGE.
▫️
A person using their extended health insurance gives away treatment time in the form of HST. A $500 per year plan gets you 4 sessions per year (at a rate of $100 + 15% HST = $115), and $60 of that is tax. By signing this, you say NO to the tax and YES to 5 treatments a year, and all your health plan dollars going to treatment.

Here is the service information from January, 2024.
*Acupunture Session*
Acupuncture is a wonderful tool to restore and facilitate the body's natural healing process and help it go back to its normal state. There are other modalities in TCM (moxibustion, cupping, gua sha and electrostimulation) and I will incorporate those modalities within a treatment if necessary.
* Initial consultation and treatment: 75 minute $110
* Follow up treatment: 45min to 60 minutes $90
* Fire cupping : 30 minutes $60
- Acupuncture/ TCM services are HST exempt
- Direct billing will be available with most insurance companies.
- Follow up treatment and Fire cupping are only available existing acupuncture clients
*Massage Therapy session
* I will reduce the number of massage therapy appointments. I apologize for any inconvenience this reduction in hours may cause.
* I will discontinue the 90 minutes session.
* I accept 2 full body Swedish massage appointments per day. If I receive more than that I will contact the third client to reschedule their appointment.
