A great idea

Be part of an ongoing research initiative, by participating in focus group about the experiences of racialized athletes in the sport system across Canada. The focus group discussions will inform a larger research project focused on better understanding racism, racial discrimination and the barriers experienced by racialized athletes along the organized sport pathway to the high-performance level.

👉 Who? Aspiring, current or retired racialized competitive athletes in any sport.
👉 What? The focus group discussions will cover the barriers or challenges that racialized athletes have faced throughout their athletic careers, the factors that have contributed to their success, and what sport organizations can do to better support them.
👉 When? Focus groups will be scheduled between June and September 2024.

Participez à une initiative de recherche en cours, en participant à un groupe de discussion sur les expériences des athlètes racialisés dans le système sportif à travers le Canada. Les discussions des groupes de discussion vont informer un projet de recherche plus large visant à mieux comprendre le racisme, la discrimination raciale et les obstacles rencontrés par les athlètes racialisés tout au long du parcours du sport organisé jusqu'au niveau de haute performance.
