Earlier this month the Commercial Utility Equipment team was excited to deliver a Terex Utilities General 80 digger derrick to ATCO Grande Prairie!

Equipped with X-Boost technology this machine provides exceptional lifting and placing capacity, while remaining lightweight and durable thanks to the BrandFX fiberglass body.

Our team was in Las Vegas this week representing Commercial at Waste360's WasteExpo along with our partners at McNeilus Refuse/Garbage Trucks.

It was great meeting everyone at the show and we cannot wait to see you again next year!

3 days. 21,000 attendees, 1.5M sq. ft. - What a show! The Commercial Utility Equipment team has returned from a successful three days in Louisville, Kentucky at The Utility Expo, exhibiting alongside our partners Terex Utilities, Skylift, UTV International, Viatec Inc, Elliott Equipment Company, Brooks Brothers Trailers and more. It was great to get hands-on with our customers, and we are already counting down the days until the next show in 2025!

The Commercial Utility Equipment team is on the ground at The Utility Expo 2023, and we're kicking the morning off in the incredible Terex Utilities area! As the Kentucky Exposition Center plays host to one of the largest Utility shows in the world, we're looking forward to engaging with both our customers and our partners over the next three days.

We're seeing double here in Delta! Two identical Terex Utilities HRX55 Aerial work ready units are off to one of our valued customers in Ontario. With a 60 ft working height and an overcenter side reach of 48 ft, this Cat B device will be able to provide years of reliable service.

Commercial is Canada's leader in work truck electrification, and part of that reputation comes from our in-depth knowledge of electric commercial vehicles. Last week, we had representatives from Navistar (INTERNATIONAL TRUCKS) provide our staff with hands-on training on the new eMV chassis so we can safely and effectively begin production on a set of fully electric utility vehicles.

Thanks to our partners at Terex Utilities, several of our staff were able to attend their 45th Annual Hands-On Training in Watertown, South Dakota. Providing our staff with the opportunity to use this equipment in the field allows for us to better understand the products we sell, so that we can continue to provide exceptional service to our customers.

One of our largest Towing and Recovery builds to date, this brand new Miller Industries Century 1150 Heavy Duty Rotator Wrecker went home to its new owner at Marios Towing last week! The 1150 features a 100,000 lb. retracted boom capacity, 25,000 lb. extended boom capacity and a Raptor Remote Control System. This build is mounted on a Western Star Trucks 49X Tridem chassis and features a 565 HP Cummins Inc X15 engine. We're thrilled to have this truck hit the roads, keeping our roads clear.

Our most recent tow and recovery build is ready to hit the roads! This Miller Industries Century 2465 integrated wrecker is mounted on a Freightliner Trucks M2-106 chassis. This build is highly capable, featuring a 24,000 lb boom, 9,000 lb underlift, and a 12,000 lb winch. This build also comes equipped with an aluminum modular body, aluminum tunnel box, and a Lodar wireless remote. We have build slots available for tow and recovery units like this one, so get in touch today to secure your build!

Last week, we put this 2024 Terex Utilities C4050 into service for one of our loyal municipal customers. This C4050 is mounted on an INTERNATIONAL TRUCKS HV607 4X2 chassis, and features an X-Boost system, which provides increased lifting capacity at higher boom angles. This build is also equipped with double boom lift cylinders, radio remote controls, and a Brutus body with a fully custom aluminum deck. We are proud to see that this new build will join one of many Terex products in our customer's fleet!

We recently completed this Hornet Stinger 11 Service Body build at our Surrey, B.C. production facility. This build is mounted on a Ford Motor Company F-550 4x4 chassis from Metro Motors Ltd., and features a Cobra 6800H radio remote crane along with a VMACAir VR70 underhood compressor. Congratulations to the Vancouver International Airport on their new truck! We can't wait to see this in service, providing support and maintenance for their ground crew vehicles.

Commercial Utility Equipment recently delivered this UTV International Achiever RT-02 Tracked Digger Derrick from our Edmonton branch! This unit features a 40.5 ft sheave height, 6,000lbs lifting capacity, and the ability to set up poles up to 65 ft tall! As UTV's exclusive dealer Canada-wide for UTV Digger Derricks and Aerial Devices, we are proud to be outfitting utility providers nationwide with these highly capable machines.

We recently completed this Miller Industries Century 12-Series LCG build at our Delta, B.C. production facility. This Century 12-Series LCG is mounted on a Freightliner Trucks M2-106 chassis from First Truck Centre, and features a conventional wheel lift, frame-mounted pylon, and a 12,000lb Tulsa Winch Group (DP Winch) winch. Our Delta branch handled this build, and will be ramping up Tow and Recovery builds to address current customer demand.

Terex Utilities Service School Teaches More Than Just Techs The product support team at Terex Utilities hosted 58 participants representing equipment dealers, utilities, and utility contractors from across the United States and Canada for the Terex Utilities Service School in June.

Final quality control inspections are complete for this new 2023 Terex Utilities C6054 digger derrick, complete with a fibreglass BrandFX Body Company body mounted on an INTERNATIONAL TRUCKS HV Series chassis. We can’t wait to have our client take delivery of this unit, and have it enter their fleet of Terex products.
