Every once in a while, we get a chance to build something different; something that doesn't exist and that's truly special. This job was no different. The owner, a Porsche aficionado, requested colors that would match Porsche's Motorsports colors. Our RS-Edition was selected using our Karbon Black, Basalt Grey & Alpine White colors. Customization on this project included a curved metal pegboard, RS Edition-themed red trim, red-tipped leg adjusters and a personalized VIN plate.

Look mom, no legs! This latest install hails from Jason Ghorbani of Garages by Ghorbani in Snohomish,WA. Our Alpine White cabinets were mounted directly to the wall without the use of legs or supports; all thanks to the rugged 18-gauge welded construction of our cabinet chassis; thus giving the system a "floating look".

Sure, bright vivid colors like Red, Green & Yellow are always eye-catching but being minimalistic can sometimes shine brighter when done right. Here's a perfect example of a neat cabinet set from Fargo, ND done up in our Anodized Silver matte paint coating.

Corporate cabinet projects are fun; particularly when you're given the chance to flex standard design parameters with funky colors. This cabinet project was custom-made for Mackie Design's corporate design studio near Seattle, WA. Mackie is world-renowned for their professional audio gear and required maximum storage space, modularity & durability; all with a touch of class.

Five Trio-Kabs in Karbon Black were spec'd out with a 3-drawer glide module down in the center. Five Hi-Kab+Kompacts in Lime Green were then sandwiched within the Trio-Kab tops creating a floating effect. This color match to Mackie's own corporate colors came out great!

At Contur, we've introduced many industry firsts in our 13 years of existence; thus proving to naysayers that our cabinet is "not just another cabinet".

Introducing our new E-KAB™ EV Gear Storage System: premium cabinetry specifically tailored for the EV owner. One of the new innovative features of our new product line is our KAB-KAM™ Camera Monitoring System, making it the industry’s very first fully-integrated 1080P WiFi-ready camera; all nestled within a cabinet door.

Launching this fall, our KAB-KAM™ unit (paired together with our integrated LED task light system) will allow the homeowner to access the device in order to view his/her vehicle within their garage environment; all using a smartphone application. In addition to “real-time” video coverage, the built-in proximity sensor will capture high-definition images and store them to a cloud-based data storage; all easily accessible at any time using a smartphone app.

Designing an aerospace-inspired swing-up cabinet door has it's challenges. But how does one reach high enough to close it; once it's fully open?

We needed to design a pull-down handle and implement the following criteria:
a) Ergonomically and aesthetically-pleasing design for a comfortable grip
b) Create a "docking" mechanism so that handle can remain parked when not in use
c) Select a soft yet durable material in order to avoid noisy interference with door components while in motion
d) Add a "distinct" feature

Using 3-Dimensional CAD (Computer-Aided-Drafting) and 3D Printing technology, our Contur Pull-Down Handle was born:
a) Soft & rounded edges to fit all sizes of hands in a pleasing neutral green color
b) Incorporated tapered nib on back to fit aperture in swing-up door
c) Eco-friendly molded polyurethane rubber material
d) Internal molded structural ribs to retain handle rigidity & provide a storage receptacle for our unique side-entry key (Our "distinct" feature)

Remember, sweating all the small details on your design will count in making your product distinct; and set you apart from your competition. With determination and ingenuity, Form & Function can work together harmoniously.

Applying simplicity to traditional organizational methods results in clean and uncluttered spaces. Here's a perfect example of how this rule applies. Not all garages are created equal. This installation hails from our dealer Eastside Garage Outfitters, LLC outside of Seattle,WA. Two banks of cabinet systems flank the back and side walls. Cabinets are powder-coated in both Hi-Gloss Cayenne Red & Karbon Black; part of our Mix'N-Match color program. Like an infant nestled in it's mother's womb, this air cooled Porsche 993 safely rests inside a garage and stays protected from the elements. It's in good company with Contur's Porsche-inspired RS Edition storage system. Good night and sweet dreams!

Many have asked us how our premium metal cabinets would look within a posh environment. Here's a perfect example of a custom RS Edition that was installed in a hardwood-panelled man cave. This photo comes from our dealer in Ste.Julie, Quebec, Canada. The Alpine white corner cabinet system becomes the focal point of this garage and is coupled together with modular flooring. Kudos to Guy & the gang for a job well done!

Our new ad posted in the January 2022 "Design Edition" of the Porsche Club of America's Panorama magazine; shows a recent install in the shop of Refresche Porsche Restorations in San Antonio,TX. Eric Kelner leads the team at Refresche and helps in restoring old Porsches for enthusiasts in the U.S.A. Love the GT4 Eric!

Joseph Iafallo of Gorilla Garage Gorilla Garage Gear in Blasdell, NY sent us these great photos of a recent 15-foot cabinet install for his client. This set was coated in our signature Karbon Black with contoured maple countertops as a solid worksurface. Great work Joe!

Can you spot the curved door shadows on the wall?

WOW! That's the only one word that can describe this absolutely stunning Contur cabinet installation by Steve Turnbull and his crew over at Custom Garage Solutions Custom Garage Solutions in Kingston, Ontario.

The entire wall was covered with storage cabinetry in brushed stainless-steel with a mix of Karbon Black & Traffic Orange door panels. Curved stainless countertops adorn the lower cabinets while LED task lights illuminate the entire workspace. Let's not forget the orange toe kicks which add a touch of class to this entire set.

Garage Outfitters of St-Laurent, Quebec sent us this photo of a recent home garage project performed in Hudson, Quebec.

The cabinetry is finished in a Custom Hi-Gloss Basalt Grey with natural lacquered maple butcher block countertops; lit up with soft warm white LED lighting. Great install and kudos to Andrew and his crew!
