I gave these hard working hand some TLC today.

It’s a busy week! The holiday nail art is starting to roll in.😍

Here are some of the nails I did this week. They are all done with Magic Nail Guard, which has become one of my favourite products to work with and ware. It’s strength and flexibility make it ideal for reinforcing natural nails while still being tough enough add length if desired. This week I used it for a few natural nail overlays and some pearly bridal nail extensions.

After giving this client several fills we decided to do a fresh set from scratch for a few reasons:
- to correct the downward curve
- to create a fresh foundation where where a couple deep cracks occurred
- I’ve changed brands of acrylic. This way the entire nail will be constructed with the same acrylic it will subsequently be filled with

Today is the day I have been working towards. I am so happy and grateful! I am finally a certified nail technician.

This week had a strong theme of powerful women reclaiming their autonomy over their bodies and practising self worth and self care. I am so here for it!!! I am grateful and honoured to get hold their hands through it. Yesterday I set out on a very challenging bike ride and hike. I almost turned around several times but in the end I made it. What makes you feel empowered? What rituals do you practice to tell yourself you have value?

What a great week. I am loving all the bright summer colours my clients are picking!

I had the pleasure of doing this cute abstract gel manicure on the lovely Brooke of The Collective. Check out for a curated used clothing collection and more.

My lovely client was kind enough to send me photos of her wedding nails on the day of. For this set I did a structured gel manicure with hand painted abstract flowers to match the lace on her dress and a fun gel pedicure. This was so fun to do.

I am obsessed with tie dye nail art! My client and I had so much fun with this today.
