We're sharing in case you notice the action outside. We continue to be open with no distruptions to the south side entrance - kitchen hours are 11:30 AM to 7: 00 PM. We don't anticipate disruptions to the pub (north) entrance either but it good to be aware the construction area is close to the pub entrance.

We're excited to announce that this week, we will be installing a new ramp at the south marina/H dock entrance to improve accessibility. Please note that during this time, there will be an excavator working in the area. For your safety, please be careful when accessing the open moorage areas at this location.

We were able to open today but will be CLOSING AT 4 pm. We plan to be open for lunch and dinner on Saturday. Keep your eyes posted here for any updates.

Maple Bay Marina is pleased to announce the addition of David Mitchell as our new General Manager.

David is an avid sailor who joins the Maple Bay Marina team after completing 36 years of service to our country within the Royal Canadian Navy. He is the Commodore of the Bluewater Cruising Association, Past Commodore of the Canadian Forces Sailing Association, and recently stepped down as a member of the Board of Directors for the Friends of Music. David’s many years at sea coupled with his solid experience in leadership roles set him up well to succeed as Maple Bay Marina’s General Manager. As David supports the progress of Maple Bay Marina, he and his spouse Trina Holt look forward to becoming more active within the Cowichan Valley.

Tonight's dinner special - baked panko halibut with a cream sauce. It comes with salad and rice but this customer asked for potatoes instead. Delicious!

It's amazing to see the boatyard so busy. We think it's the busiest we've ever seen it at this time of year. We enjoy seeing more boater owners too. Way to go Valet Yacht Services!

We had lots of fun at music in the park last night in Cobble Hill, and now we are getting ready to head down to Beacon Hill Park to play in the bandshell from 1:30-3:15! See you there.

We’ll also be playing as a trio at Maple Bay Marina for ‘s art show from 2-4 pm.
