Alright Folks its been awhile since I havee streamed. This morning at 10:30ish am PST I am kicking off 2024 with the Interview of all interviews. Katt Williams. I feel like this is a good place to start again as Comedy and the music business is not that different. Come hang and hear my musings regarding the entertainment industry.

Cervantes’ will no longer be taking a venue merch percentage of artist merchandise. The standard rate is typically for venues is to take 20% of artist merch sales which we are abolishing making it more sustainable for artists to tour. We feel they deserve this money and are proud to be a part of this movement.

As I sit here having coffee listening to on the house of some Cafe I'll never remember, I remember. I remember my first open mics with Richard Gloade and Dirk Dillinger Mark Currie and so many others. I remember coming to Calgary, Kelowna, Vancouver, Victoria. I cannot believe has taken me this far in my life. I could never have planned this route, the adversity the unexpectedness. Man am I music chose me. hers and she is forever mine.

A year ago tomorrow. I lost the brick that has held my wall together. The glue that kept me on my path as a songwriter and player. He was proud of my achievements, my boldness and my ability to face the difficult. He loved my music. I believe it might have been the only thing he cared about was me getting to succeed at this game. You could not talk to my father without him bringing me up somehow I have been told plenty.

Tomorrow there is a funeral for my Father on the Miramichi River where we are from. Neither of us will be there. He in my estimation has peace. I will be taking tomorrow to grieve and play music for him. The Tour I embark on Wednesday evening is in Tribute to My Father. Andrew George Matchett. June 25th, 1964, and peacefully on July 18th, 2022. Gone Too Soon.
Rest in Power.
