Introducing my latest pattern (and the perfect stocking stuffers) - the minimalist wallet!
These were popular at the Hand2Hand Holiday Market, and I'll be taking a few to The Tiny Shop Upstairs (including some foiled and carved+coloured ones!).
The green one has already sold, and the taupe and blue are the last in those colours!

This beautiful tote is the last large item I have left in this leather! And the liner is adorably round sheep.

Yesterday was just ... incredible. After months of hard work and planning, the market was absolutely amazing.

Hand2Hand is once again proud to partner with the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton for our Hand2Hand Holiday Market 2022!

By providing the Christmas Bureau with a table at our market, we are able to support their mission - to provide festive meals and coordination of Christmas giving to Edmontonians in need at Christmastime.

Tomorrow (Nov 26), volunteers from the Christmas Bureau will be selling wooden toys made by the inmates of the Fort Saskatchewan Correctional Centre at our Holiday Market. These toys are remarkable, and the sale of even just one toy can feed a family in need this Christmas. They often sell out so make sure to come early!

It's officially spooky season!!

Hello! It's been a little while since I’ve said hi, so this is an intro post for those who don’t know me, as well as a thank you for following 👋

1️⃣ About Me + Cimeon :
I’m a lifelong maker and crafter working out of my home-based studio in Edmonton, Alberta, where all items are designed and made by me. When I’m not working in the studio I’m off adventuring with my family. We welcomed our youngest in December, and now that they’re more independent I’m back in the studio and getting ready for the infamous holiday season!

Growing up with French as a second language, I would often lean on French pronunciation and spelling when I encountered new words. I heard the word ‘simian’, which I decided must be spelt ‘cimeon’, at about 8 years old. It reminds me that we all view the world through the lens of our own experiences and to appreciate the little details that make things unique.

2️⃣ What I Make:
I’m driven to create items with personality, and my designs are a celebration of the materials I use. I also love to incorporate my own original artwork. Many of my items are made to order. Custom orders are welcome (and opening soon - keep an eye out)!

As a member of a thriving creative community, every effort is made to source products locally and purchase materials from local suppliers.

3️⃣ What’s Coming Up
Though I’ve been busy with baby, I’ve also been working hard behind the scenes. New materials and patterns are coming soon, and I’m thrilled to have joined a local artisan market, Hand2Hand, where you’ll find me this winter. You can also now find my work at the amazing The Tiny Shop Upstairs! There will be more happening as all my carefully laid plans start to unfold (hopefully with minimal hiccups) - so please stay tuned. I’m so very excited to share everything with you!
