People often ask me: what made me get into breeding cats?
When I was 16 years old I was in a car accident which left me paralyzed; a quadriplegic. At that time, the Glenrose would let you bring animals to visit & my mom brought my two 4 month old Persian kittens I had just gotten. They stayed overnight with me, didn't leave my bed, snuggled all night while I cried in their fur. Their demeanor, their purrrrsonalites, their love is what made me start breeding. Over the years I started showing them. Breeding them not only to align with the show standard, but creating wonderful temperaments that people have raved about.
Oddly enough, the same reason I started breeding cats is the same reason I'm taking a big step back from breeding. After this last paralysis and hospitalization, I had to make this incredibly hard decision. Considering deeply my affected mobility and it not being fair to my family to have to take on that kind of responsibility should I need surgery and recovery or something else happen to me. We were so flattered that Royal Bathroom Tissue reached out to us to have our kittens in their upcoming commercial. Unfortunately, at the time, our babies just weren't old enough. So we did our own photoshoot with the Princess Bride Litter 😻
