2nd last event of the year today and I feel like I’m really figuring this latte art thing out!!

Well it’s come to that time of year. As of Sunday Oct. 30th we will be closing for the winter.

It’s never an easy decision and I would have loved to stick it out a little longer but the colder weather has put a real damper on traffic and we felt this was the smart decision.

Thank you for all of the support in our first season!! There may still be some events through the winter we do so stay tuned!

The start is small but the dream is large.

Sometimes it’s hard to share but I am done having I am no longer wasting my time worrying about what others think.

I have a goal, a vision to make Outcast the first thought someone has when they think of Edmonton Coffee.

But not for our coffee alone, for the fact that we celebrate you just as you are in all of your Outcast glory.

I have spent so many years struggling to fit in, always feeling like I was just on the outside and was only thought of when someone needed me. And for so long I was angry.

Until now. I realized so many of us feel this way and that I would rather be an outcast than change to be part of the in crowd.

So if this resonates follow along, join in and be a part of our journey and let’s see if we can create something special!

Absolutely loved this one guys!

Absolute blast of a first day for the world championships. Met so many cool athletes from all over the world and got to introduce them to some pretty incredible coffee!

I was also impressed. Some legit athletes showing out! Very cool to see people that are the best in the 🌎 at anything! If you have the time swing by the next couple of days to check them out!!

It may be 30 degrees today but we can all appreciate fall is coming. The mornings are crisp and the 🍃 are falling.

So we figured some fall flavours were in order!

You may not always see her on the trailer. But the trailer wouldn’t be possible without her.
mama is your syrup maker, part-time baker, she is the IG content inspirer and I have no idea what I would have named it without her.

She talks me off my ledges and is the general rock I need to stay upright on this entrepreneurial journey.

Can you spot the new addition?

So many joys come along with running your own business! And some times there’s a few stresses. Like scrambling when things break and becoming an overnight espresso tech/plumber!

I think there is a lot of people out there that assume ownership is glamorous. For some maybe it is and for those that it is they likely worked their ass off to get to that point. Because for most of us I think it’s varying degrees of wearing about 30 hats, getting punched in the face and just getting back up.

If you are a business owner and can relate tell me your best/worst ownership story! I need some support in numbers!

Man entrepreneurship is hard.

Today easily would have been our busiest day! We were having a blast supporting all of the amazing runners!

And then our espresso machine decided it needed a break. Not ideal, definitely a punch to the gut but we will get it figured and hopefully be back up and running for Tuesday.

So sorry to my dog park but we’ve got some repairs to sort out. Thanks for understanding and we will see you all Friday.

I don’t know much about running other than I love it but for all those out there this Sunday what I do know is:
1. Don’t take it too seriously, soak it all in because you are a badass doing badass things!
2. West the fun socks, shorts or whatever that fill you up. Who cares what anyone else thinks. This is your fu***ng race and you will own it!

And when you cross the finish line we’ll be there for your caffeine and post race fuel needs! And hopefully next year I’ll be out again running with you!

Wow what a week!

Can’t say it any better than with gratitude. We had our 2 busiest days so far back to back and are looking forward to what’s to come this summer!
