Serving all natural home baked breads and pastries. Going back to their roots with simplistic ingredients and traditional European methods.

Taking a label design and making it into a ✨BRAND✨

Where the inspiration came from:

The Name: flour in Czech is mouka, the client is from Czech Republic and bakes more traditional sourdough loaves the Czech way 👌🏼

The Logo and Brand Design: I incorporated the home baked feel with the doodle drawing but paired it with a modern font for a professional look and mixed in more natural colours to symbolize the health benefits of sourdough bread - you can pack a lot of meaning into even the simplest of logo designs!

I always love how it lends a more organic and undone feel to a brand, pair that with a nice clean font and you’ve got yourself a pretty fun modern logo design!

It adds pizzazz without being too much

Obviously a place like Mac & Mingle needs merch…and with such good food you might need a to-go container!

Branded merch, menus, containers, signage, posters, glassware, interior design, marketing, etc. all adds to the atmosphere of a business, it all works together to bring together the vibe of the place.

If you’re not sold on this concept yet I dunno if we can be friends 😉 pasta, cocktails and karaoke all in one spot…sounds like somewhere I’d make the best memories with friends!

Come for the food, stay for the vibes 🎶

Branding for a Food Blog!! ✨

This brand has a slightly French retro but modern feel, it’s meant to be fun but also give a sense of knowledgeability. The hand drawn illustrations and fun font choices show the homemade easy going side of the recipes (they’re not too prim and proper). If you want to check it out visit

Deliverables are tailored to you and your business, so not all packages come out the same.

For example this package included a brand identity design, full social media package (profile image, highlight covers, post templates, stickers for stories) and hand drawn illustrations!

There currently isn’t any need for a website, business cards or really any other print marketing materials since this brand is based solely on social media.

When we do a discovery call together I ask questions to understand what you will need for your business in order to have a successful project! And that’s how I formulate your unique design package!

Is it time for a Re-Brand? ✨

In the spirit of showcasing a Canva logo re-make and 2 upcoming re-brands I wanted to discuss a few reasons why a company might consider a re-brand.

I’ve spoken about this before and these are only 4 of so so many reasons but if any of these resonate with you, it might be time to consider changing things up!

1. Your brand feels outdated or no longer represents your business properly. You have grown and quality has increased but your branding still screams homemade, lower price point, or inexperienced.

2. You have a hard time standing out amongst your competitors, everyone’s started looking the same. So it might be worth it to make your brand more unique and highlighting what makes you special!

3. You have a lot of brand inconsistencies when it comes to how you show up for your audience. Packaging and branding aren’t cohesive, you use many different templates on social media, your website hasn’t been updated since you first launched, etc

4. People are confused, customer feedback is that they are misunderstanding your brand and you’re seeing inconsistency with how your brand is being perceived vs. how it should be.

This is an example of a re-brand project going from a DIY Canva Logo to a unique brand identity 🤗

Speaking of the infamous DIY Canva Logo…

It’s the best way to…well…blend in with all the rest 🙈 (sorry for the tough love).

I recently shared a reel outlining this!

While I understand not every business can afford to have their logos designed right off the bat, eventually you may want to turn that standard “homemade” logo into something a little more YOU! 🤍

I wanted to show a little before and after of this boutique logo. I kept in mind some elements and colours from the original logo (florals & greens/pinks) but gave it a much more elevated facelift ✨

If you do end up going for a DIY approach please let this be your one takeaway:

Don’t choose these busy, illustrated logo templates (especially not the ones with watercolour behind them).

Pick something simple, mostly text based (like a wordmark) because you are much more likely to end up with something professional and modern.

You will have a much easier time adapting a wordmark logo to other things like packaging, signage, apparel, etc. Usually the busy illustrations are a nightmare when it comes to printing and expanding the logo to signs etc!

Throwback to an oldie! 🤗

I haven’t been posting a lot of work lately because I got wrapped up in the education side of things and current work!!

I really should be posting more recent work but I wanted to do a little highlight of a project I worked on a few years ago because honestly, I still really like it! I would make a couple small adjustments after so many years but otherwise it’s solid!

While I absolutely love a fun flashy branding project I also really get on well with more simplistic professional brands too! (I actually have one in the works right now)

This one is professional and elegant but with a bit of a friendly/low key feel to it.

I’ll get to posting some newer projects soon (including some I worked on while working for LCC) so keep an eye out for those but I hope you enjoyed this jaunt down memory lane ✨

A few main reasons are:

A little side note regarding website offerings from Paperloft:

Lately I’ve been noticing a demand for websites to accompany branding projects or just demand for basic sites in general.

To be honest it makes total sense. Why wouldn’t you want the person who created your branding and knows it inside and out to carry that over onto your website and all other business assets.

I’ve been learning more about web design and now have three projects under my belt, so I’ve realized I’m able to offer basic websites to my clients.
